For the people saying it’s a crap game, keep in mind it is literally brand new and will have many problems in the beginning just like any other game, it will also have many things similar to Genshin because Genshin is one of the first games of its kind (wuthering waves is also less then 24 hours old)
Is it not the responsibility of seasoned developers to ensure there are as few problems as possible and that the game is as engaging as it can possibly be?

Character design looks good, combat is fun but that’s pretty much it for me. High end rig still has frame drops, locked FPS at 60, story is bad for now (don’t like all the chinese term that they use that could’ve been translated easily), environment graphics are ok at best. Will be playing for the combat for now, hopefully they improve especially on technical and environmental stuff
By the way, this is for Mina and anyone who didn't realize, the mid-air drop attack completely negates fall damage. I tested it by jumping from the top of the mountain with *the chair* down to ground level, and didn't take any damage. Normally, from a certain height, you do start to take damage, but it's generally way higher than you would normally think.
@@KohakuNachtfalke Yep. Regardless of the distance, if the character has a drop attack, and you have stamina, you shouldn't take any damage from a fall. The stamina's mainly so you can actually do the drop attack.
i wish there was some special effect when doing an air to ground attack, it looks so awkward seeing them in the same position with not even the fabric moving a lot
I’m just gonna assume the goddess is giving life to its creation and sending it to another solar system since she just sent the main character through at Wormhole . Because it seems to me, that the world the main character came from was destroyed by a black hole or an evil God. And sent her creation to another world to re-populate, I guess .
The goddess looks eerily similar to Lucia from Kuro's other fantastic game, Punishing Grey Raven. And the music playing in the beginning sounds like a famous OST from PGR called Narwhal.
The game will definitely need more improvement, it has lots of potential if the devs keep putting in effort to fix certain issues and make the story interesting and easy to pick up for players. Glitches are naturally there already, for example I was fighting bandits only to find that they were inside the hill and were shooting at me from beneath the ground. Definitely confused me but I suppose they were in a certain rush, perhaps deadline to release the game and left lots of bugs from not testing. Overall the game has some really cool features which I enjoy but defiently need to continue building for it to hopefully reach success.
Previous Genshin player here, i played genshin since release. Quitted a year ago, as much as i dont want compare WuWa with Genshin, i had to since there is too many similarities. Story: genshin and wuwa story started as pretty boring imo, so far wuwa chapter 1 are one point below Genshin for me Combat: oh god, wuwa undoubtly have better combat mechanism. Its more complicated with parry, dodge attack and new attack etc. Its like HI3+Genshin+ own feature if u get what i mean. Characters: mostly are chinese character, which i know few people are just doing dislike them immediately. Personally, i think its alright, there are some character i like alot. However, genshin are def more refined Open world and exploration: i didnt explored all the map in Wuwa, but based on what i experience, its alright. What u have in genshin, u going to get it in wuwa, except character in wuwa can sprint on wall costing much more energy (chinese wuxia setting). Device requirement: wuwa definitely require slightly better spec device than genshin. however i have no idea if mobile is the same situation. Bugs: havent encounter one in my 9 hour gameplay since launch. Maybe i missed it, still had no idea where is all the bugs are that people complaint Music: Hoyoverse are much much better. I hope kuro change the bgm in their login screen lol, it hurts my head All in all, its worth trying the game. Its definitely not bad, but i wouldnt say its the game of the year either. You can play Genshin and wuwa at the same time. Dont listen to salty player from both side, make ur own judgements. note: when genshin release, there is alot complaints and whining too. So make sure to ignore as much as u can, and experience the game urself
it has the best bug ever you can change your computer clock ahead and get access to the next banner early not really game breaking but rather odd they let that happen

I'm usually against dialogue skipping for games but damn. Chinese names and term + Scifi is not a good combination, Random cut offs of voiclines similar to genshins early days, voiclines repeating over and over again. And so much more. Only honest to god good thing about it right now is combat. A solid 9/10 for me
Yeah, that's why I'm lenient for criticism, Genshin was the same when it first came out. Like heck for example they just added the underground map feature in 4.0! The hardships I faced collecting and 100% the map of the Sumeru desert was traumatizing.
Pretty much sure she can see certain people that magistrate and the main character have unique frequency. And everyone else has a weird frequency. It is possible everyone are clones that were clone thousands of years ago similar to other games.(Honkai impact the third,Genshin impact, and Honkai star rail where most of the humans the original ones died off and the surviving soldiers had to rely on mass cloning on earth, and sent spaceships to other worlds to repopulate, which was thousands of years ago this might have a similar story. Slight differences, Honkai impact the third humans were recloned on earth and other planets. This world have a similar background , who knows??? but that theory so far.
I assumed it was that most people have some sort of dissonance to them, that she can see. And we and the Magistrate simply don't have that dissonance. I'm not going to try and theorize the exact reason why, cause it's way to early for me to start that for this game.
Here are some of my thoughts a few hours in as a Genshin and HSR player, Im curious if you ppl agree: Firstly, obviously server speeds and optimizations are much worse as of right now than Genshin or HSR. I’m playing on mobile with the lowest graphics and half of my combat is waiting for my game to unfreeze, and there are many other bugs and well. EN voice acting isn’t my favorite and some voices feel quite unnatural in context. The combat itself (when it is working 😅) to me is much more intresting and enjoyable than Genshin button mashing, and too different from HSR to compare. I’m not done with the story but it feels on par or slightly worse than Genshin’s Monstadt, but for sure worse than the HSR’s Belobog. Exploration feels quicker and the world is quite pretty as well, though I do enjoy Genshin’s music a bit more (i’m biased since i’m a classical music geek)
as a genshin and hsr player also, totally agree with every point. I'm really hopeful for it to work out, mainly cause i need another game similar to genshin to play so i don't burn myself out in genshin and WW is perfect for that. the fact that the studio previously made a very beloved gacha game gives me cautious optimism that it's just an incredibly shaky start and ittle find it's footing soon
I’m also a hsr player. I absolutely love this game so much and I’ve never had any problems, issues or lags in the game since the day it launched and I’m always on max graphics.
just a heads up for people this is excatly like genshin minus the reaction but the combat is so fun and exploration is pretty awesome once you reach lvl 14 it will get rlly boring tbh but once you hit the 20-21 lvl that where things get good

I'm not usually one to do the sub vs dub war but this time I truly think the JP VAs voiced the characters better than the EN VAs. I'm glad though that the devs acknowledged this and will take measures to improve the EN voices.

I’ve played this game until level 10 so far on both mobile and ROG Ally. In terms of mobile it runs pretty smooth on my end with my only major complaint being that I can’t use PS5 controller nor the razor backbone yet. Luckily the touch screen controllers are not terrible. On the ROG Ally there is a weird glitch on my end in which it stays running in the background and I have to go to task manager to force it to shut down completely. After doing that it runs pretty smooth. There also seems to be an issue in which some cutscenes do not play the full dialog when using Autoplay. I will give Kuro games credit, the cross compatibility is less of an hassle than in Genshin… with Genshin if you were unfortunate enough to have a PSN account you had to link that account to an email that is not being used by hoyoverse. Voice direction on Wuthering waves, specially on the English dub ( excluding the trailer song since I do agree with Mina that it does have the better version) is so an so… some characters are great like Jinyan and male rover….others…well not so much… specially Yangyang… hopefully it gets better down the line. Overall I am enjoying the game for what it is an plan to play it on the side along side Genshin and HSR… I definitely like it way more than Tower of fantasy…
Literally same for me. I cannot play it on my laptop cause it’s too frustrating with the constant lag even on lowest settings, while Genshin HSR run great at high settings
Fr, I can run genshin and star rail with basically no frame drops but I have to run WW on complete minimum settings and even then it's laggy as hell. Which is extra frustrating in a game with parrying and perfect dodge mechanics etc
Yeah, it's almost unplayable to me. I'm really disappointed because a lot of people have this issue and many more problems. Like....if your game is not ready don't release it but whatever they will fix it soon ( I hope so )
Same here.. it's really disappointing to me because I got RTX 3060 on my PC, and yet my game started lagging from the very beginning - the freaking character selection scene! I had painfully watched like 10 minutes worth of really laggy animation scenes until I got the first chance to lower the resolution and FPS.

I know it's annoying to compare every new gacha game to Genshin but this is unapologetically a 1:1 Genshin clone but with Star Rail's QoL, Honkai Impact's combat, and a weapon banner that isn't awful. It's literally the game I've been waiting for and it's fun as hell.

I like a lot of things in Wuwa like the NPC designs and the monster collecting mechanic but the heavy chinese reference is kinda putting me off hopefully they lessen that a bit, the companion quest with liondance boy felt more like a history lesson and it was so boring

Everyone has their own taste in anime, but honestly this game reminds me one of those low budget Isekai series where they have the most basic fantasy BGM downloaded from a website. The only interesting part of this game is the Pokémon mechanics. The combat is not that great tbh, maybe mobile game standard 5-years ago, sure.

I like the characters,the lore,the combat
I’ve played this game until level 10 so far on both mobile and ROG Ally.
In terms of mobile it runs pretty smooth on my end with my only major complaint being that I can’t use PS5 controller nor the razor backbone yet. Luckily the touch screen controllers are not terrible.
On the ROG Ally there is a weird glitch on my end in which it stays running in the background and I have to go to task manager to force it to shut down completely. After doing that it runs pretty smooth.
There also seems to be an issue in which some cutscenes do not play the full dialog when using Autoplay.
I will give Kuro games credit, the cross compatibility is less of an hassle than in Genshin… with Genshin if you were unfortunate enough to have a PSN account you had to link that account to an email that is not being used by hoyoverse.
Voice direction on Wuthering waves, specially on the English dub ( excluding the trailer song since I do agree with Mina that it does have the better version) is so an so… some characters are great like Jinyan and male rover….others…well not so much… specially Yangyang… hopefully it gets better down the line.
Overall I am enjoying the game for what it is an plan to play it on the side along side Genshin and HSR…
I definitely like it way more than Tower of fantasy…

Genshin runs buttery smooth on my phone at max settings but in Wuwa i cant even play smooth at lowest settings. It was so frustrating
Yeah, you'll have to wait for a few months for them to tweak it out. Same case with HSR for me, before it's choppy now it's smooth sailing.

Literally same for me. I cannot play it on my laptop cause it’s too frustrating with the constant lag even on lowest settings, while Genshin HSR run great at high settings
Fr, I can run genshin and star rail with basically no frame drops but I have to run WW on complete minimum settings and even then it's laggy as hell. Which is extra frustrating in a game with parrying and perfect dodge mechanics etc
Can't really compare them tbh ,hrs and genshin use Unity ,a much lighter engine while wuwu uses unreal engine 4

Yeah, it's almost unplayable to me. I'm really disappointed because a lot of people have this issue and many more problems. Like....if your game is not ready don't release it but whatever they will fix it soon ( I hope so )

Same here.. it's really disappointing to me because I got RTX 3060 on my PC, and yet my game started lagging from the very beginning - the freaking character selection scene! I had painfully watched like 10 minutes worth of really laggy animation scenes until I got the first chance to lower the resolution and FPS.
@@Jurgir09no it wasn‘t. Sure there were some bugs her and there but at least everything ran smoothly. Idk how you get that information from but at least you could properly play the game.

Please, give the game a chance. Even if it’s not as good as we hoped, it’s not a reason to dump shit on it. It’s still good and in some parts better than Genshin. I believe that issues and plot will be fixed like in every other game, and by that time Wuwa will be on par with Genshin. Like, I don’t know why you expect a game to be better than everything in every way.

Man, I burned out from Genshin's exploration so badly. And now I come here and it literally the same shit. Thousands of puzzles, encounters and all that and all you get for it is CHEST. Just endless chest farm. And I'm f2p, these fckin chests are half of the currency and resources. Really want to like the game, but chests are going to burn me down I feel

I know it's annoying to compare every new gacha game to Genshin but this is unapologetically a 1:1 Genshin clone but with Star Rail's QoL, Honkai Impact's combat, and a weapon banner that isn't awful. It's literally the game I've been waiting for and it's fun as hell.

I like a lot of things in Wuwa like the NPC designs and the monster collecting mechanic but the heavy chinese reference is kinda putting me off hopefully they lessen that a bit, the companion quest with liondance boy felt more like a history lesson and it was so boring
Can't believe we could of had a darker story from the get-go , i hope it's just the beginning and the writers weren't force to change all the plans they were cooking up for the story.
I'll stick to playing just Honkai Impact and Reverse 1999, world exploration + combat isn't quite my jam since I get really dizzy 😖 but I'll listen to the stream

Everyone has their own taste in anime, but honestly this game reminds me one of those low budget Isekai series where they have the most basic fantasy BGM downloaded from a website. The only interesting part of this game is the Pokémon mechanics. The combat is not that great tbh, maybe mobile game standard 5-years ago, sure.
