They busted their ass to get us these warnings. A friend of mine lives off of us #421 in Wanatah Indiana and the farm house to the north of his residence sustained serious damage. They were on the air until the storm was well into another viewing area. And no I do not work for the station.
Tom Coomes Yes. It is. I just turned 50 years young and I remember the Crumstown Hwy tornadoes. I was working at the St Joseph County Police Department and was out at the post ( at the airport) and we could see the wall cloud it was amazing and scary as all hell. That was one long day 18 hours of non- stop 911 calls. Take care and thanks again for keeping all of us informed and safe.

tim darr thanks for the kind words. And this is still likely the most recent severe ( not flood) event we’ve had in recent history.

TV weather for a mind numbing 1 hour and 39 minutes with ZERO in person coverage/storm footage.
Captcha Neon not a lot you can do in 2014 at 1 AM, it’s dark and dangerous. You just gotta roll with it.
Only a few people were awake at the time.
