I want to point out that just FIVE HOURS after I uploaded this, we got the official name for the Persona 3 Reload song I used for the outro. The video has the fan name in it. It's not called "Paint A View." It's called "Color Your Night." ALSO. The Dudunsparce segment... segment was formulated before the Kitakami outbreaks were fully known, and the mistake was also made very shortly after the DLC's release. I neglected to re-check the information as time passed. My apologies.
Random idea for a longer form video: make pokemon trainer teams for the main characters of other various JRPGs! I'd love to see your takes for Xenoblade or Persona party members potential teams if they were trainers
fun fact about shuckle by the way, while it's final design is a strange mold-bug creature that seems to be based on endoliths, it's beta design looks more like a weird snake in a vase or a jar! and if the concept of it 'fermenting juices inside its shell' was decided early on, it's possible it was originally going in a more "snake wine" kind of direction before becoming more of a mold-bug :P
I hope you don't genuinely feel bad for making these mistakes, with the huge amounts of information we all have to absorb being fans of this series, its very easy to say slightly the wrong thing every now and then. Appreciate the clarifications though friend, the video was great! Keep making mistakes so we can have these videos
Oh dammit. I think when I said that initially, we didn't know of all the outbreaks in Kitakami yet, so people pointed it out because they don't exist in Paldea.
Tho i have noticed that after the DLC released there has been more types of pokemon in outbreaks, even in the base game. So you might just have seen outdated information
@tigrexkiller1548 I don't think Paldea's outbreak list has changed, both from what I've seen firsthand, and online. I think they just changed the odds so you'd get more variety. I kept getting Weavile outbreaks like, every other day.
Great video! But 2 segment dudunsparce outbreaks do exist but no 3 segment ones because those can't spawn in the wild. While 2 segment ones can. Outbreaks can only pull from pokemon which can naturally spawn in the overworld!
Yes. It's funny, when the original mistake happened, we didn't know about all the outbreaks in Kitakami yet, so many people corrected me, because Dudunsparce outbreaks don't appear in Paldea. This video has been in the works for long enough that they hadn't updated the info while writing, and I neglected to check if things had changed. Apologies for that.
@bighoff2496 Tbh, I didn't really know where to draw the line for "pink shinies," (especially considering how i was limited to a 1 minute video) hence why things like Ariados were left out.
A mistake that people get is that Mints change any Pokémon's Nature. That is not really true because Mints only change the stats that they do not change any Pokémon's preferred flavors, wild Pokémon encounters, nor Pokémon breeds. It is best to use the Mints on any neutral Nature Pokémon.
RE: Animon - The idea of Ditto evolving sounds kinda pointless given what it's already capable of doing, but ever since I first laid eyes on Animon / Super Ditto I've wondered whether or not that was *actually* a true statement. Is a Ditto evolution really pointless, or is that just a limitation of players' imaginations? It may well be the former, but it's fun to brainstorm. For example; Make it so that the evolution can *retain* a transformation *even after battle*. Like a temporary Sketch but for the whole body. "Clone" a legendary/boss via a transformed Super Ditto. All they would need is some item to dispel it when the player wants to drop that style.
A lot of your color observations are made with no accounting for contextual color. The exact same color can look very different when surrounded by other colors, which is why so many grey pkmn become green and vice versa, as well as others. And tbh i dont know why you dont consider it much. Itd avoid things like the giga blastoise bit
Shuckle is literally a turtle my guy. A pokemon can have more than one inspiration at a time. Shuckle is so very much a turtle that the fect you're saying that it's not as a "correction" makes me wonder if uh...you've ever looked at the thing????????
Looking at many of Shuckles elements, it is FAR closer to an endolith, and it's turtle similarities only exist on a very surface level. It is the "fungus Pokémon," and its appendages do look like fungi. It may LOOK like a turtle, but it is an entirely separate beast from things like Drednaw and Squirtle.

@@aprr5393 That would be fun! I have a two-part video in the works right now, but I DO like Persona and Xenoblade, so I might do that afterwards!

If it were to be a Snake Wine, I bet it could have attract as an ability or even a more powerful infatuation ability or moves.

You also called Clauncher a lobster but it’s actually a shrimp. A pistol shrimp, to be exact.
Red Lobster Red Lobster
At this point I'm not surprised if you make these mistakes on purpose just to give us these great videos
I assure you, I am just kinda stupid like that
@@Newsteevie not a problem, it's a win win either way
After that new short, we need a pride special
Dudunsparce outbreaks do actually exist, seen them twice in the DLC map

The tcg sometimes has shiny pokemon figures like zacian zamazenta and darkrai but ehh
Yeah, that was mentioned in the History Of Shiny Pokémon video.

The unused ditto evolution had 50 in all stats because every unused pokemon at that time had 50 in all stats as a placeholder
You still forgot my pink shiny boy hitmontop. This sin can not be forgiven.
Too purple for me. Same colour as Quagsire? What're you talking about?
@@Newsteevie I’d call it pink. Chalk it up to one of us being colorblind

@bighoff2496 S'all good! Just thought a bit of context would lessen the blow.
There actually are Dudunsparce outbreaks in the Teal Mask DLC but that’s only in kitakami and are quite rare
Also, they're always 2-segment
Oh, a letter! I have friends! Oh, that’s not a letter, that’s a threat
My man tricked us into some actually learning~
This is a really well made video. You deserve much more views because this is good content with good pacing. Love it man!
Great Video NewSteevie! Of course everyone makes mistakes! Some of these I didn't even notice in your shorts Until I noticed it😅😄👍

Me realizing the Gen 6 games are ten years old and I just started to play them: 😱😱😱💀💀
"I'm sorry" YOU SHOULD BE!
There was also a Moncolle figure of Ash's shiny Noctowl

Eevee is based of nothing, it’s a blank slate
Technically, design-wise, they're based on animals in the order Carnivora, but I don’t think it's more specific.
You’re so wholesome
Aegislash isn't in indigo disk :(
You’re so fast!!!
Good video man, I enjoyed it.
Anyone knows how to get fake out in pokemon scarlet?
I love these videos
