I don't care how old this footage is!...I just absolutely love watching Andy Burtons Peugeot Cosworth car racing around the forests!!!..it was an absolutely amazing car!!.. and that awesome soundtrack flowed echoing through the forests was epic!!!... surely miss this car and those earlier days of rallying!!!... i am a keen motorsport photographer and managed to see this great car in action on many rally's!!!.... fantastic video guys!!...👍👏😎

There’s absolutely no better sounding rally car than this! … plenty come close…. But this is just above all else… so sad it’s gone.

Andy Burton, Sydney Meeke, Nobuhiro Tajima, Ken Block, Bill Blydenstein, Rod Millen, these are extremely brilliant rally car preparation and performance Wizards who could match and even better any of the WRC factory creations.

+triptechable That engine was replaced in 2007 with a 2.9 Nissan V6.

I don't really know who mc video are but the camera work is excellent. We miss Andy Burton in that car, it proved that it can be done without the big sponsors and expensive cars. Wasn't just the car though, Andy is an amazing driver....would love to see more of this sort of stuff in the WRC.
+Steve Powell only one problem lol maintaining an engine like that for 13-14 rounds would be very costly for teams... especially privateers

No Mate. As far as i remember a Cosworth 2.5 v6 built for dtm, very light and with good power for its compact size. Google and coley gould gr55 v6 for same engine in a single seater.

Mr. Burton, I want to applaud you for building such an amazing car, and for your awe-inspiring driving. I need to ask, why are you calling it quits on the Peugeot-Cosworth? Just not competitive enough anymore? Or are you moving on from racing?

he had it limited so it could still compete with out complaints which is a shame but the car is used for special events now i think hes got a manta the car was at a rally x day
