My old car was 22 years old and had seen better days. I needed a new car. Ford thinks that I need a gigantic expensive pickup or SUV but they're wrong. I bought my house 4 years ago for 128,000. I've got around 3700 sq ft between basement, garage & all. Brick home 1 acre. They must have lost their minds to think people buying at 100,000+ for a truck. Anyone paying that much is wasting money. Even if I'd a billion I wouldn't get it. I could build my own for that price.
That big raise The big three got it gets passed on to the consumer we are negotiating our contract general production gets a 5% raise skilled labor gets screwed. Ad far as Ford goes I just bought a F350 4wd crew cab lariat ultimate sport with FX4 package the dealership is doing just fine
he's still a pretty good salesman because you know there's at least a few people who are seeing his vids and thinking "Those trucks look nice I'll go to my dealer and check some out."
Something I pointed out on another you tube channel; and this needs to be investigated by some of these you tube channels, I think the big three may actually be trapped between the consumers and the UAW. You’ve got to remember they just signed on to another outrageous UAW contract like they did in 2008 when cars, trucks, and SUV’s shot up about 30 to 50 percent. If that is the case bankruptcy may be the only way out.
The problem is that pandemic taught manufacturers one lesson. Short supply, Hi demand, high prices yield more profit than building a larger quantity of affordable vehicles. They will intentionally keep supplies low with less material costs, less labor costs, less overhead and keep the prices as high as possible until people stop buying.
Toyota for me . Yes, they made a bunch of bad engines but they are making it good with no cost to the owners . I have a 2000 Tundra with 260,000 and it still runs like new . A few little problems but not on the expensive side . Inside door handle, A/C low press switch, alternator, brake modular for rear brakes, radiator and that's it . Southern truck - no rust !
I'm sure it had nothing to do with recent huge UAW raises. Not that the raises weren't deserved but Ford and other automakers didn't plan for this. Strange though, one would think that the UAW would up their focus on quality given their new income forecast?
When a truck costs as much as a house... may have lost track of what the market wants. Also, this is what leads to a recession... convincing people that they can purchase expensive things on credit so they don't have to worry about the price. If Ford is providing the financing they are making way more than the ticket price
Prices for new trucks are ridiculous. I need a truck to pull my RV but new vehicle prices are too much to afford on my retirement income. The United Auto Workers union has helped either by demanding outrageous hourly rates. The manufacturers and unions have destroyed the new car market.
My 2001 F150 supercab 4x4 with a 5.4 and 8' bed was $27,000! I'm beginning to think Farley is a Toyota plant to destroy Ford from the inside out! He promised to concentrate on improving quality control years ago!
They have no choice but to raise prices, they just agreed to the most asinine and costly labor agreement in world history for unskilled labor with the UAW.

Wait for the fire sale when all those FORDS will be discounted 50% plus. If you think FORD will be around 10 years from now....
Yes these OEMs are seriously disconnected from reality these days with these prices.
Excellent TRUTHFUL video
124k they have lost their minds, prime example of massive inflation besides foods prices ridiculous!!
Bought a lightning, great truck. No gas for me thanks.
Nice. How do you find the range
@@markholubetz range is great. 330 miles if I charge to full.
Fk. You nail it. Truth is all anyone asks and you deliver.
Thank you very much. I certainly
Do like to share the reality . Have a wonderful week.
Yes or union busting
The problem is that pandemic taught manufacturers one lesson. Short supply, Hi demand, high prices yield more profit than building a larger quantity of affordable vehicles. They will intentionally keep supplies low with less material costs, less labor costs, less overhead and keep the prices as high as possible until people stop buying.
Exactly
Only millionaires can afford these trucks.
Millionaires are too smart to waste their mobey on unreliable heaps of ecoboom junk
I like the Lariat but I want the Coyote V8
Same here
Nice Job!
Don’t forget about the stupid bench seat in the back. Seems like you would get a little more premium for 100 grand
I bought my 2019 Ford F350 Lariat for 69k & now a truck like that cost about 30k more
If people weren't buying them, the price would go down. If I was Ford, I would raise the hell out of prices, until idiots quit buying them.
My 2001 F150 supercab 4x4 with a 5.4 and 8' bed was $27,000! I'm beginning to think Farley is a Toyota plant to destroy Ford from the inside out! He promised to concentrate on improving quality control years ago!
Ford will go out of business I see the writing on the wall 🤔
John Deere is moving to Mexico too
Regardless of your opinion or your budget, inflation dictates price increases
They have no choice but to raise prices, they just agreed to the most asinine and costly labor agreement in world history for unskilled labor with the UAW.
Why do you only go to Denny Andrews Ford or Great West Chrysler?
Can you go to Sherwood Ford and Sherwood dodge? Those are bigger nicer dealers!
I have been all over the place for sure
Ford used make good trucks until about 2004 and up then they lost their way they are going to get what they make
