Vaporeon Solo Blue challenge w/ Fast Forward (no items in battle)

In the video, you will see a run of Pokémon Blue beaten using only Vaporeon. The run is done using a romhack called Regulation Red/Blue in order to change the starter (and make sure it can't evolve when applicable), lock items in battle and prevent any glitches from being used.

Hey Crool, I have a question I think you can answer. I want to catch Pokemon in the HGSS safari zone using the blocks + waiting days but Baoba still hasn’t called me for the last time to enable that. I have 40+ days in my blocks for torkoal (takes like 20 or 30 days) but torkoal still hasn’t shown up. I’m assuming it’s because I haven’t gotten the call. How do I get the last call?

Unfortunately it's been many years since I last did this so I don't remember it well. From what I recall the Boaba calls were based on time you spend in the game (not real time passed), getting the calls after every few hours you play. The upgrading is based on the actual days that passed. That being said, I could be way off here, it has honestly been too long
