Really like the GW scenery with the modularity and level of detail. If you can find a lot of the civitas and spire kits you can design some really nice set ups. Case in point, is what you displayed! For your dollar the industrial set is a better bang for your buck. The large deal sets that GW puts out have always been the best way to go. If you remove the marines from the bases, file them off. If you cut them the wrong way you will actually shorten the model. In the end I just glued them to the base and used my basing material to hide the small round base the marines were mounted on
@@voidstofull578 thanks! At least I know there are no shortcuts if I get round to doing something similar! I think it was well worth the effort though.
Looks like some good plans for the future are coming up.
Everyone I know in the hobby has picked up a precept box because of how good value it is.
Just the one?
It is insanely good value, I mean I wouldn't even feel bad using the reaver for terrain if I get a worth while idea.

I did not even think of filling them, thanks that's a great idea. I will probably still cut them but leave a bit and file that.
Wonderful terrain, and a really nice showcase video. How did you make the steps on the palace model?
The steps were painfully made with the sprue bits from multiple terrain kits
