  • While in San Francisco recently, my husband and I stopped at Pier 39 for lunch and had the most wonderful clam chowder at Fog Harbor Restaurant. I was fortunate enough to sit down with Fog Harbor's Chef Jermaine, and get the recipe! He gave the instructions, and I came home and made the chowder. It's delicious!
    You'll need:
    Butter
    Onion
    Bacon
    Celery
    Russet potatoes
    Half and half
    Baby clams
    Thyme
    Black pepper
    Clam base
    Clam juice
    Flour
    Bread bowl (optional)
