These guys are one of my all time favorite bands, something about that mix of metal and retro synth pop hits just right. Honestly their discography is so full of bangers that you could probably pick a song at random and not be disappointed, but if I had to choose something to recommend, Bella Donna from their newest album is probably my personal favorite.
2 WTF's in the first 45 seconds ... welcome to Yannis' world. ... and they write the catchiest damn chorusii. The craziest things happen when you mix a Greecian in with a pack of Finns. .... Synth-pop-post-bridges in the midst of a metal song. fyi, from what I remember one of their guitarists started this band when they parted ways with Battle Beast Also BIB opened for NW on the 2017 tour ... now THAT's some street cred.
What a great reaction! Loved it! I saw someone in the comments suggest Ghost Love Score by Nightwish, but not the original version, but instead the cover by Yannis Papadopoulos (the lead singer of Beast in Black, but I am sure you knew that already), that cover will blow your mind! Looking forward to a reaction video of yours to it!
Great reaction. Welcome to beast in Black. You need to listen to Battle beast. It's got the female vocalist who used to be in the same band as who is in beast of Black
I can't believe I missed this reaction, considering I subscribed around the time you got into Sabaton. Especially since Beast in Black is hands-down one of my current favorite bands, right up alongside Sabaton. Beast in Black's just such an incredibly talented bunch of nerds, and Yannis just seems like an all-around great guy to be around (on top of having a voice on a level we mere mortals couldn't hope to comprehend). I know a couple of others already mentioned you should check out his cover of Ghost Love Score (for the record, it's on Yannis Papadopoulos' personal channel, I don't know if Nuclear Blast has it on theirs), but he's got quite a few other kickass covers uploaded, too. Among other things, he did an absolute banger rendition of Kansas' "Carry On Wayward Son," and believe it or not even a killer cover of Frozen's "Let it Go" (I don't know how friendly Disney'd be to a reaction video for that one, but it's definitely a personal recommendation).
I like BiB because their music delivers a huge amount of energy and momentum without being heavy or aggressive. (It doesn't mean that I don't like heavier or more aggressive metal, but still, it is impressive how much BiB rocks without being those.)
Yooo love your reactions and the way you actually react to the lyrics! Keep them coming bro! May I sugest Blind Guardian? They have some awesome songs like Nightfall, Battlefield, Ride Into Obsession, and Wheel of Time. Idk thought you might like those lol
If you liked that, maybe check out Unleash The Archers, Awakening (Full Band Playthrough). When I first heard this Beast in Black song I thought it was Brittney Slays from Unleash the Archers doing guest vocals.
► They play extremely melodic and driving music which is based on Metal music. ► Every track they released is memorable and each one is unique in its own melody. You can find a lot in their music - from classic Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Speed Metal, to a mixture of Metal music with Synthwave, Eurodisco, Eurodance, Hard Rock and some other genres. ► For your reactions, you can safely take any of their compositions and you can be sure that you will never be disappointed. They have several official videos and lyric videos, here is their list: • Blind And Frozen (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) (2017) • Beast In Black (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO) (2017) • Born Again (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO) (2017) • Zodd The Immortal (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO) (2017) • Sweet True Lies (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) (2018) • Die By The Blade (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO) (2019) • From Hell With Love (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) (2019) • Cry Out For A Hero (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) (2019) • Moonlight Rendezvous (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) (2021) • One Night In Tokyo (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) (2021) • Hardcore (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) (2021)
The first time I heard this song was on Spotify in my car while I was driving, so I wasn't seeing the vocalist, only hearing him, and I wasn't sure if there were one or two vocalists.
Wintersun - Land of Snow And Sorrow (@sonic pump). Phenomenal band with a phenomenal performance More Muse is also always welcome, in my opinion they should be remembered throughout history, they are so versatile, innovative and just plain amazing.
I told you in the last one how I was having problems. Yeah well this song is on my playlist for a song I'd listen to over and over again due to it's lyrics. They kinda kill me. So forgive me for not listening to this reaction. I hope you enjoyed the song. If you did, I have another Beast and Black song you'll really like, if you liked this one. Jules
This honestly kept catching me completely off guard! I hope you enjoyed and let me know what you want to see next!
I never get tired of the shock on reactor's faces the first time they hear Yannis' voice

"I CAN CONQUER SHIT, LET'S GO"
Yep. That's the vibe. 😆

Welcome back to the 80's.
beast in black has that late 80's early 90's sound, despite being formed only at 2015.
