Yes, it does. At least it seems to work flawlessly. But I did not drive it so far, only test setup on the bench. Have to check again, I did not do any frequency measurements as you did, only quick "on the bench". If there should be a problem, maybe doing the same thing with ch2 (Throttle) as I did for CH1 (steering) could solve this? Throttle CH4? Do not remember anymore if you also changed the channel order to "car type", I have changed all models (radio setup) to CH1 = steering and CH2 = throttle. I watched your video (latency) weeks ago, it is so helpful and it contains awesome information, unfortunately quite hidden - for example the WLToys protocols. I will give credit to you when I upload the WLToys binding video, because it was you who showed me that ch4 is steering channel in WLToys. In WLToys I can bind the new models (284131, 2428 - those do come with different radios) without problem, everything works. But in the elder receivers (the "large radio") I can also bind without problem (different protocol), but the model does not stay bound. So if I switch off model and switch on again, the receiver goes into bind mode and I have to bind it again (I tried "everything", switching off/on rx or tx first and on again after binding). Wanted to make/post this WLToys video already before Christmas, was then stopped by my R85C binding problem for an evening, and now I am searching for a solution for this "old WLToys bind problem". I will try to set the "bind input/order" on a button, so that it is easy to bind the model each time after switching on. Still have to figure out how to do this (I am no EdgeTX prof at all, I am learning). Any idea why the old WLToys do not stay bound?
Thank you for making these very helpful videos. Could you olease also make one for bindkmg the spektrum rx with AVC that come with losi/arrmas? Thanks.
I do not have those. I do only have "normal" Spektrum air receivers (DSMX and DSM2) and a Spektrum micro unit (Axial AX24). As far as I found now, the MT12 4-in-1 does not bind to Spektrum ground units (DSMR), only to air units. Did try to bind it with my AX24, no success. I would be glad, if I am wrong, but I fear, I am not wrong. (Does also not bind to new Traxxas receiver units, such as the TRX-4M, did try, and not to TurboRacing, and not to Flysky AFHDS3 and ANT - so will not bind to Hobby Plus trucks, old and new ones, not to SCX24 v2 and v3, 1/76 Turbo Racing trucks).
Yes, I happen to know. But you will not like the answer: It does not work with Flysky AFHDS 3 (Noble) and ANT (Flysky FS-G7P etc., SCX24 v2, FMS, Hobby Plus). It works with the 2 elder Flysky protocols (AFHDS and AFHDS 2A), but not with the two newer ones (AFHDS 3, ANT).
Unfortunately this is not possible, this is a AFHDS 3 receiver. Also Flysky ANT will not work (this protocol is also used in SCX24 v2 and the FMS/RocHobby trucks with the small radio and in the newer Hobby Plus/FTX/Absima micro trucks). I read, that it will not be possible in future, because the processor of the MT12 4-in-1 is not able to work with Flysky AFHDS 3 and ANT protocols, so one would need a new module for this (not yet developed/available)... not "only a new protocol implemented". We will see, no AFHDS 3, ANT and TurboRacing working with the MT12 4-in-1 is also quite a bummer for me, because I do have so many tiny trucks and cars using those protocols, and a Noble and several ANT receivers (and radios).
I’m late to the discussion but half my RC’s are the mini FMS/Furitek/ HobbyPlus so that makes this radio not very useful to me. That’s too bad as I am really interested in it otherwise. Maybe one day they will make a module available. Fingers crossed.
I cannot get my FS2A from Aliexpress to bind. Just blinks fast. The small radiolink ones work. Just wanted these to work as they are cheap
Did you update firmware (if EU-version)?
@@donaldsneffe Yes. I was just reading there is a version with a big chip that doesn't work and one with a small chip that will bind. Thank you
For me when using the FS6, I got odd behavior with the gyro impacting CH2 as well. Does your CH2 work as expected with no changes by moving the RX?
Yes, it does. At least it seems to work flawlessly. But I did not drive it so far, only test setup on the bench. Have to check again, I did not do any frequency measurements as you did, only quick "on the bench".
If there should be a problem, maybe doing the same thing with ch2 (Throttle) as I did for CH1 (steering) could solve this? Throttle CH4? Do not remember anymore if you also changed the channel order to "car type", I have changed all models (radio setup) to CH1 = steering and CH2 = throttle.

Nice!
Do you know if it’s possible to bind it with this receiver, Flysky FGR4S V2 Receiver?
Unfortunately this is not possible, this is a AFHDS 3 receiver.

Thank you for this excellent answer. To bad it didn’t work when I have this reviver in many of my cars
Cheers Fredrik

Do you know if the fs bs6 can bind to a radiomaster boxer?
If it is a 4-in-1 it is the same as MT12.
