With angle of her head, and the hands almost pulling at his, I always thought it looked like she REALLY did not want to be kissed.

Yes, I can see what you’re saying. I also get s sense, now knowing that Klimt might have painted himself and long time companion Emile that the kids is not so much romantic and sexual as it is appreciating and protective. You almost get a sense of the woman being a young foolish squirming independent child than a lover. But these types of emotions can be found in long term relationships too. I really love the tenderness displayed. I find it funny people always think sensual equals sexual!!! Sex is sensual but so is eating food or snuggling into a warm blanket and eating food and snuggling into a warm blanket isn’t sexual! (Well, not usually🤭)
I like to think of Klimt here is playing on all those criticisms of some his works being “pornographic”. Even The Kiss was met with shock, but should it be taken in that way!? No one really knows if that’s Klimt and Emilie or if they even were lovers (I guess it’s safe to say at one time it was) It must be the gesture of the man grabbing the woman that sets off the public’s tension? But one in great appreciation for someone else can also grab and kiss most affectionately!

Eventhough it is true that the faculty paintings ("Fakultätsbilder") were burned during the end of WW2 by fleeing German troops, it was not on purpose like with many other artworks, literature etc that were considered degenerate. The paintings were in fact stolen/ acquired, stored in a castle and destroyed as the building was set aflame to prevent the allies to use the building and probably deny them valuable loot.

Lubię sztukę, Klimt , Mucha czy Lempicka. Tak jak z muzyką lubię starą, klasyczną i nową. Ostatnio odkryłam malowidła w jaskiniach, co za przekaz.

I would love to watch similar analysis of Mikhail Vrubel's demons. They are perfect.

All over the place and too superficial. No need to be longer, just more relevantly concise.
