Not to talk of Strychnine, Cinderella, Gotta Get Some, Girl You Captivate Me.. their ability to improve any of the original versions was a great dowry they brought as a gift to rock history..

- Excellent Canadian garage track... I couldn't find a printed copy of lyrics but I think what's below is roughly right. (If anyone can correct anything: feel free. The odd word varies in versions and I'm sure I've heard an extra verse on one..) Walking down the street, on a foggy night. Saw a young girl standing under a light. Her face was pale and her skirt was tight. Had a five dollar bill, I felt alright. If I had my car, I would go for a drive. I had no car but I had my five. Walked over to her, said what's your name. My names Mary Jane, I live down the lane. I looked down the lane, at the end I could see. A room full of clowns looking back at me. A line of executives formed to the right. And if I'd stayed, I would have stood all night. She opened up the door, and said go on in. I walked in first, pulled down the shades. She said take it easy, don't be afraid. You got nothing to lose, you're at a penny arcade. . Seen live many times. They're no more than a cover band with no own strong material(except for 'ward 81'). Liked by many by but only for '60 nostalgic lovers. Personal opinion.
Yes they just jumped on the band wagon !!!!! They suck. Bunch of posers they overdo everything they don't live that lifestyle it's not music they just sizes a band and and they're not true to the roots they're not allowed to Chesterfield Kings of the child so hearts these guys suck there's too many other bands I can list you like the f****** more or less than the untold fables and the American workers they'll suck
They introduced another generation to this style of music, not unlike bluegrass has, got no problem with it. I would have never found The Haunted without it.....
One of the best LIVES to enjoy thanks to Rudi and the beatniks with him.....DIG IT !!!!
"The Fuzztones" NEVER disappoint with their cover versions ... This is EVEN BETTER (in my humble opinion!) then the original version.
I Definitely agree
@@blackstrawberry5863 Me too!!!
Too yeah.. I remember Lysergic Emanations as one of the coolest thing in mid-80's
Not to talk of Strychnine, Cinderella, Gotta Get Some, Girl You Captivate Me.. their ability to improve any of the original versions was a great dowry they brought as a gift to rock history..
Saw them at Bernie's before they left Harrisburg. What a Great time. Good memories ❤✌😎
The Lime Spiders also have a memorable version of this classic track . . .
The Fuzztones are soooo good. They have the garage sound but they're like a bunch of things. They are so good. Long live the 80's!
Saw Rudi, Lana Loveland and the band live many times over......kick ass:):)
Great version of a great Canadian classic rock song!!!

if you are into 60s you cant help but finding fuzztones a 60;s pathetic joke
because they couldn't be bothered to write their own material. Most overrated garage revival band ever IMO
They introduced another generation to this style of music, not unlike bluegrass has, got no problem with it. I would have never found The Haunted without it.....
Why bother. No soul. The Haunted is way better.
singer really screwed the lyrics..No where near as good as the original
You couldn't even suck him off
