Still no news on Metroid prime 2: Echoes for Switch, I hope this means Nintendo have scrapped the HD port and are taking their time to make a proper remaster on par with Meroid Prime 1 remastered.
I expected them to drop it this Direct, but I guess next one we will get it
That is a possibility, considering the sales of the first Prime games Remaster.
I generally hate first person games but this is one of my all time favorites. I remember going into gamestop and they had it on the demo kiosk. I lost my job and had no money. It was the holidays and no one was hiring. I was super depressed. I rented this game but didn't have any money to rent it again so I kept it. Playing MP2 got me through some tough times.
All these environments, especially Torvis bog and sanctuary fortress, so iconic and memorable, and just perfectly crafted to put you somewhere you’ve never been it’s like you were really there.
One of my favorite games of all time. Even if we get a simple HD remaster of this in the future I would be ecstatic.

it irks me how nothing get scanned BUT I understand the video would extend for hours otherwise.

That game is the darkest of the saga and so well made

I'm not a huge fan of actually playing this game, but I enjoy watching others. I figured I'd give this a go.
It looks like you're using mouse and keyboard for this. How did you set that up? I love these old Metroid games, but the clunky GameCube controls make me not want to replay them. But if i could use mouse and keyboard and ignore the lock on mechanic, that would be a blast

You may have found your answer but they're using Primehack. A fork of the Dolphin emulator that gives the MP trilogy M&K controls
use Primehack!! its a fork of the Dolphin emulator (which is for gamecube and wii) made specifically for the metroid prime trilogy. its great. in includes mouse/keyboard controls and many other improvements

Its not PC, it is probably the dolphin emulator for wii
