MTV needs shows like this again instead of playing ridiculousness everyday all day, or teen mom
Agree!
Exactly. That's exactly when I stopped watching MTV. Back to back episodes of teen moms was so annoying and then, I don't find ridiculousness funny. I miss the days of True Life and MADE.
I love MADE and it's almost impossible to find online. :(
What does the "M" stand for, again?
@@kerrieleidig music lol
I’m so mad at everyone at school for not supporting her through this. She was so proud of losing 15 lbs at camp and nobody hardly said anything 😢 She deserved so much more 💔
this is what life in the mid 2000s was 100% like
It sure was. I was also a teenager during this time.
Completely unremarkable.......
@@thetanvan5833 That's life.

Many ppl have asked how my beautiful bigger then life baby sister passed away Unfortunately she had a botched Gastro bypass surgery that led to an opiate addiction that ultimately took her life in Oct 2019 . She had the most amazing personality and she was one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever known . It’s just so sad the potential she had . I know the passing of our father tore her apart and she was never the same after.
Thank you for sharing Jessica. She seemed so amazing and touched so many lives! She lived a legacy and she will always be remembered. Much love to you.
Thank you so much for uploading, and sharing her story Jessica. She seemed like such an incredibly radiant person, and this is the literal only episode I’ve ever enjoyed of this show. My heart breaks for the loss of you and your family and I’m sending love and healing thoughts to you all.
It makes me feel sad and sick that you lost your little sister. It's bittersweet that you and your family can go back and watch this beam of light whenever you are really missing her, and remember her for who she was and is in your hearts 💕
Danielle is dead?!? Omg
thanks for letting us know 😢
I remember this episode. I just thought she was such a pretty girl before and after
youtube is recommending this to a lot of people right now... please be respectful and understand that this was posted by her family 💔
Thank you 🙏
Just read the description after watching this and I'm instantly heartbroken. You can see how determined and how much love she had for people and life itself. I know she has moved onto a better place now but I wish she was able to fulfill her dreams! rest in peace Danielle, I hope she knows she is still continuing to inspire people
I vividly remember this episode because of how cool and raw Danielle was. Thank you sharing and keeping her awesome energy alive. I'm so sorry for your loss :(
Her “friends” were douche bags… their only response should have been “that’s great news! Good luck, you can do it!” But instead of being encouraging, they talked down to her and made her doubt herself. It’s ironic they’re accusing her of being unmotivated/lazy/etc but when she shows a desire to be motivated, they shoot her down and tell her she can’t do it.
It's ridiculous because it's scripted. Every episode is the same like that when it comes to the peers.
@@Scrapegoat That's what I was about to comment 🤣 Reality tv is about 10% reality at most lol if it truly showed our true lives it'd be boring. At least most lives.
It wasn’t really scripted, but they would stop us in the middle of conversations and have us re say things differently.
@Jessica Czarnecki Walker Makes sense. Where they don't blatantly say it but guide it.. I can't even record myself or leave a voice-mail without being a weirdo so I can't imagine a film crew! Hope there's some good funny memories from it all 🤍
Well, they're teens.
I was 14 (and such a little scene kid) when this was filmed. So much nostalgia. I remember this episode so much. She was so beautiful. ❤️
“I’ve been a caterpillar 🐛 now I want to be a butterfly 🦋.” She seemed like such a beautiful person, inside and out.
I know, that was beautiful but sad. I think most can relate whether it's weight, addiction or life in general. It can be tough 🤍
I was in high school during the early 2000’s, this is exactly how it was. I’ll never forget watching Made, along with all the other popular MTV shows at the time, on cable on my tiny little tv and life was great. Man, how times have changed
Omg I miss this show
Me too
Danielle’s energy was amazing. She seemed like such an optimist and wanted to change her life. I’m so sorry about her passing. Many people do not discuss the mental side effects of gastric bypass. She was beautiful 🖤
Wait, she passed away?!
@@SH-rg3gb yes unfortunately
What's?! 😢
SHE DIED?! HOW?
I LOVED this episode back in the day! Danielle was such a charismatic, cool chick. I'm so sorry for your loss, Jessica. Thank you for sharing this with us though, Danielle will not be forgotten.
So unlike all the 600 pound life episodes where everyone else is to blame for that person, being overweight, Danielle admitted in the beginning that it was nobody else’s fault, but her own! Point is she decided to change!
Watching this again as an adult has me in tears. If she had been a troubled teen, I think it would have been justified being that she had been through so much. But she wasn't, she was smart, funny, beautiful, inspiring, and so much more. My condolences, she seemed like a wonderful person.
okay but it was cute when she said "i need someone's back" & a girl actually did help her lol so sweet
I love the 2000s. It's just a different breed lmao
Danielle good job, never give up on yourself. Life's tough and we need people like you.
I miss when MTV shows had actual substance 🥺
Danielle sounded a lot like Mila Kunis.
Her makeup game is FLAWLESS!! I could totally see her being a makeup artist, fly high beautiful angel 🦋❤️
What a bright and beautiful spirit! She worked so hard for her goals. She definitely would have been an amazing plus size model for Torrid. 💙❤💙
I love this episode, MADE was such an important part of my teen years. It showed me that even though change was hard, you can be anything you want to be! Addiction is no joke and my condolences to your family
Thank you
She seemed like a beautiful soul. Sorry for your loss 🙏🏻❤️
I’m so sorry to hear that this sweet beauty passed away. I remember watching her episode and thinking she was so cool and someone I wished was my friend in school.
Oh sweet girl ❤️ I’m so sorry we grew up during this time when you couldn’t see how beautiful you were.
I watched this show all the time as a teen back in the day. This and true life back then were some of the best shows on mtv at the time.
Thank you for sharing this. I remember your sisters episode so much. I hope your family finds peace after this loss
Omg how I miss MADE 😩 I was obsessed with this show growing up
Please. Please don't pick on teenagers that are going through their personal problems, at home, with friends/family or school. If you're an adult, take notice and take stand. If you're a student, please take time to make sure your fellow students are okay. Just please don't give up on them. Give them the push they need. Not the one that sends them over the edge. Just be alert and subtly aware. Take your time ❤️
This randomly appeared in my feed, and I was hit with major nostalgia, I remember her and this episode so vividly--but have not seen this for so many years. Sad to hear she has passed though, it's a weird feeling--feels like finding out an old friend you've lost touch with has passed, her episode really resonated with me.
MADE was the best! The bodybuilder episode went down right around me, I was a bartender at the restaurant the kid liked and the camera guys would sit at the bar and tell me MTV spring break stories. It was really something to see.
Please bring this show back MTV! We need more inspiring entertainment like this ❤️👏🏻
Omg the nostalgia! When life was a lot better.
she seemed like a blessing. so sorry for your loss. fly high, danielle ❤️
Just read the description. I am so sorry for your loss. May Danielle rest in peace and my her spirit live on ❤
This show was certainly was something else. In the words of Forrest Gump; ‘and that’s all I have to say about that’
She was beautiful! This was my favorite episode 💜 my condolences and thank you so much for sharing this video
Wow what a light she has!! My condolences this was one of my favorite episodes 💛
Ty
I lost my dad from addiction and used food as comfort as well. I’ve gained 50 pounds. I wish I could’ve crossed paths with this girl so we could’ve related and supported each other. She deserves the world. She is so clearly an amazing soul. I want to tell her that her weight didn’t take an ounce away from her beauty. And push yourself to exercise to practice healthy mental and physical habits and not to try to change.
I just read she died from an opioid overdose. That kills me! I've lost so many loved ones to overdoses. St. Louis has a huge fentanyl problem
Hope you're doing better now Myka!
@@armygirl85fuckhitler74 from my understanding of someone that knew her.. she had complications from her surgery.
I just read that she passed away. That’s so sad dude.
I’m so sorry for your loss I love this episode so much. I’m in recovery myself after a car accident let to an opiate addiction. If you ever need anything I’m always here
This is heartwarming af. Rest in Peace Danielle

Danielle definitely had the it factor 🤍🕊 bless her
Honestly, Danielle looks so cute from start to finish 🙌
Right! She was never ugly
Thank you for uploading this 🤗
I wanna watch real world, I hope real world is on. THE MOSE RELATABLE THING IVE EVER HEARD!
I had fun watching this after so many years. Only afterwards did I see she had passed away, which is heartbreaking. I was just recently thinking how I used to watch Made, then moved away college and basically became a different person in an instant, kind of like in the show.
Yes for sure. Miss the old MTV
I loved her episode so much, she's seemed like a beautiful soul ❤️
I really feel for Danielle. I'm about her age and I remember the 00' era well. In some ways, it was a bit more simple and carefree. On the other hand, flat and thin bodies were in, and I was neither. I remember feeling so fat in high school, even though I was a size 5. Also, the Jillian Michael's technique of screaming and shouting and pushing people to their limits was widely accepted and admired. I'm so glad society as a whole is more accepting of all body types now. I think Danielle would have really flourished today. It breaks my heart to hear of her passing, may she rest in peace
"Society" has not changed that much where to be obese will be considered healthy. So get out of your unicorn and rainbow hair land and live in the real world.
@@aruglaempire2518 You must be a blast at parties 🤣

Omg i remember loving her episode and thinking she was the type of girl I'd be friends with. So upsetting to know she passed, rip beautiful girl, I love your spirit. 💔 I don't know what happened but I hope your okay and lived a happy life between then and your passing.
How did she pass away :( I’m sorry
@@danielastoica2110 I have no idea, sorry, I said that in the comment, I'm curious as well. I just saw a few people talking about it and I'm pretty sure the person who uploaded the video was related to her somehow by how she posted.
She was my baby sister. She had a Botched Gastro bypass surgery that lead to an opiate addiction which she lost the battle to.
@@jessika42007 I am so so sorry, your sister is beautiful. Gastric Bypass is terrible, my mother had it as well years back and its caused her so many problems, she's struggled with severe digestive problems due to that surgery, so I totally understand why that happened and I truly believe they should never, ever perform that procedure, it is not safe and its so frustrating what it caused her and you're family and addiction is truly a disease and it's terrible what it does to people and their families, especially the soul gripping clutch of opioids, its the addiction not the person. She left her mark on the world and I wish ya'll the absolute best, positivity and healing. Thank you so much for sharing this with me.

This was one of the episodes I remember most. I definitely related to having weight and motivation issues, and Danielle was only a few years older than I am. I'm sorry she passed away.

Lmao I remember I use to want to be “Made” and go to fat camp..MTV has some influence!
One of the most memorable episodes of Made. Your sister was such a bright light, thank you for sharing this with us. She was a beautiful person!

I was probably like 13 when I first saw this, she was a great person. RIP and thanks for sharing.. what an interesting era that was.
Wish I was there with you to be your support system. 😁
I used to love this show!
Sad you don’t feel like a person because you are bigger. I can relate
What exact year was this filmed? I was a teen too in the early 2000s
RIP sweet girl!
60 pounds in only 2 and half months?!?! That’s like 6 pounds a week. Not only is that impossible but sounds extremely dangerous you didn’t gain that weight in 2 and half months how do you expect to lose it that quick without starving or overworking yourself? This show was wild lol
When you’re overweight it comes off fast when you change your diet and work out, no need to starve yourself. I did it fast as a teen because I was also going though puberty which made my weight loss happen easier.
You should read the interview Marci from MTVs “I used to be fat” did …she talks about how completely unhealthy and dangerous they made it for her to lose weight, and how they had her eating starvation calories!
@@KB-dd5px Thats sad but I believe it!! Tyra Banks had said how she would feel she was going to pass out and only was to eat a few crackers and water or something completely insane like that. Very sad!!! These producers have zero shame. Someone from the Bachelorette had said they would have them start drinking soon as they woke up and would keep them awake for hours so it would cause more tension and hostility 😬
@@KB-dd5px I'll have to look that up. I wondered about that show because of how much they lost in the few months they were doing it. I know you can lose a good amount by being healthy, but something about that show seemed excessive.
Danielle was so beautiful, right from the start.❤
