I kinda feel her. When youre female in your 30++ age with no relationship and marriage, you tend to be like harsh to yourself and almost settle for less. When a friend cancels on me because they find a romantic possibility I drop them as a friend. 365 days in a year, plenty of time to schedule romance, friends and family! Besides, watch the way people treat people, that is eventually how they will treat you when you are no longer shiny and new.

She was wrong for standing up her friends and putting her want for love over them, but he was way more wrong for not just expressing those feelings to her and just catfishing her for 4 months, promising a future with her. He manipulated her and probably destroyed what little trust she has, and he’s a horrible friend for that. The way he went about it was so wrong, but her saying it's normal to drop friends for a relationship was wrong too. I can see why he was frustrated, but he was definitely wrong. Her need for a family because of growing up in a broken home overshadowed her critical thinking. Having a child with someone will NOT make them stay. I hope they both learned from this.

She needs to focus more on healing, self love and finding peace in her singleness. Love will come in due time but even with the most perfect man it won’t last create the happily ever after she so desperately desires.
And I know how he feels though I would never stoop that low to prove a point. One has to cherish friendships that are closer than family. If they always ghost you for a new love interest, simply remove yourself and not be available when she gets her heart broken again and when she asks you have that much needed conversation.

I don’t think George was Jealous. She said herself that she’s embarrassed to tell her family as she goes from one person to the next to the next, imagine each time your best friend drops you as if you’re nothing but expect you to be there as soon as it goes wrong, again. He wants her to just be more careful and thoughtful. Not the right way to do it but as a friend who has been picked up and dropped and supportive to the 10th degree, it’s tiring never getting any support back.
