Good job Melvin, you should do a video on how to adjust your loader so it isn't dropping shot or powder when its not supposed to be. Too many vids out there making people think they have to use empty shell to catch powder and shot. Well done
I've wondered if a magazine feed for the cartridges could be attached. A simple folded channel strip that grips the rims... either spring loaded or pulled in by a chain system that runs off the turntable. Then all you need to do is feed the wads. The side of the turntable holds the cartridges back until an open slot comes around, and click you've got the next one in.
Great video, thank you for sharing. Question: I have a MEC 8567 Grabber which is a similar machine in many respects. When I pull the handle down, if there is a hang-up I can feel it and reverse it before I damage a hull or spill components. Does the hydraulic or electric unit have any sensors that detects any unusual resistance and will automatically reverse? If not, how do you handle the occasional hang-up?
the machine blocks the charge bar from moving if there is no empty case in position. as long as you start out with the charge bar to the left. if you start with it to the right it will drop shot all over your bench if you do not have a empty with primer still in the hull in the shot position
Melvin Spencer Interesting, but I'm still a little confused. I start with shells in pos 2-3, and drop the shot and powder. Then only shell in pos 3, once clear I motor on. I guess I would have to see it live to understand because I don't see how the machine "knows" when there is not an empty. I am going to go back and read my manual, but I don't recall that piece of it. Thanks for the replies.
Do you happen to have any experience with the Dillon reloaders? Not sure what model it is. Have a chance to get a whole setup for $800 that was lightly used to load .22 brass
I had a PW and was not impressed at all. The mec was faster and much less costly and all of mine are 100% reliable so for me mec is the better press. i also had a dillon and rcbs. never tried a hornady
Grafs has 5 left for about $1228.99... BPI is a bit higher in price but much better for components though... Added: I love mine, but make sure you read and double read that manual... your initial set up you really got to play with to adjust just right, also, sometimes you have to loosen the back brackets off and give the body a light smack, then retighten them back because alot of times they come shipped with the body sitting at a bit of an angle, which you DONT want to operate in that way... Mec is pretty cool though, if you buy from grafs of bpi, youll get a better price, but any problems you can call mec and an engineer will be on the phone with you practically all day long just to make sure your set up is perfect... Mec actually cares for their customers, and this reflects by ever having to call for help, even on a most simple adjustment, to a big problem... www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/10941 BPI Like I said is where you want to get all your components though... They pretty much set the standard for hulls, wads and drivers and shot of all kind... www.ballisticproducts.com/ But if you want to load yote loads, or buckshot, you cant really use this, get the sizemaster or even jr, and you still wont use all the stations... you have to hand load the pellets for buckshot... but you can crank out some hot turkey loads with the 9000h
Great straightforward video!!! No theatrics or overproduction.
Very cool, smooth and fast

HI, what cylinder do you use for automatic operation of the machine?
Great video, thank you for sharing.

Hi sir mec can’t get the hydraulic pump before sept 2024 could you tell me the motor hp and if possible the gph of the pump 😃
My label is long gone but i think it is 1/3hp but no idea the GPH, Does not take much as the ram is very small.
How are you not dropping powder and shot at the beginning and end of the 25? The charge bar is moving and I would think powder and shot would drop?

+Melvin Spencer Thanks - I see it now, must be a function available on the HN model. I have the G, so I was just curious.

tell how charge bar stays to left
@@MrLbunting that function is also on the G. As well as the Grabber.
Wow... I want one... is that load using a 3/4oz wad ? I'm looking for a 3/4oz load that will operate my 1100G3. That will be the Cat's Meoow !
That was 1-1/8 ounce loads. I rarely load anything under that. I like a 1200fps load for just about everything
can you load useing fiber wads..?
+robjan40 I would imagine you can. I just have never had the need to.
Bonjour je voudrais savoir la marque de votre machine et le modèle
Prices also
Great press Sir, but none of the presses today can handle #4 Buckshot loads or 00 Buckshot. To bad

Hi . I am Georgian Mirian Takvarelia .
How can I buy this machine from Georgia?
I would have no idea. Possibly a local supplier
I love to reload but I work in a factory so this looks like a shit time to me 😆
Does this one also do the primers or do you have to do that separate?
It does everything on this one press.

why are holding 3 shells in your hand until the end?
Can Millwright just habit. Not sure why but it just seems to happen
