- This is a video response to the StripersOnline thread asking about if anyone has any Pork rind trailer "home made" alternatives.
This started as a candy cane shaped cut out of a chamois cloth.....with a light coating of Dragon Skin FX applied to one side.
Super simple...Nearly indestructible. And the side opposite of the Dragon Skin can hold scent.

Pretty cool. People forgot about fishing with grub style baits. Mister Twister used to be the rage. Everything old is new again.

Hello. Somebody by the name of Linus Chen got in contact with me. He's a big fan of your channel but got banned from commenting. The issue came with younger pigs and that caused their product quality to decline... Crazy right?

Have you tried it without the dragon skin? If so, how is the action? Also, is there a less expensive alternative to dragon skin? Thanks.

I use chamois for many lures/jigs.
Rabbit is another good one.1st jig I used that was made of rabbit was back in the 80's from a guy my father knew at work.

How do you like them? Looks pretty good.
I tried the same thing with chamois. Works great for about 30min. Then the tail seemed to start getting caught on the hook far too often...like every second cast. Very annoying and impossible to hook a fish with. Sounds stupid, but it seemed like it absorbed too much water..?. If you can stop it from fouling you've got something.
Hence what you see here... The layer of dragon skin or a few wraps of waxed rigging floss to stiffen up a section and your good... The heavier gauge chamois are less floppy too
Was just checking the comments about the purpose of the silicone. I am going to give this a go with red rtv silicone.

you have amazing videos, I wanted to ask after watching some on the BKK hooks and china trebles how do you determine what gets an inline hook vs a treble? I'm mostly bass fishing and peacock bass fishing and am wanting to switch most of my lures to inline singles if possible due to damaging the fish with the trebles.
