Ppl hate success, but it’s hard to ever hate the man. Class act and best college coach ever. Though I do love seeing him in the booth not on the field 😂
We loved to hate him only because he coached Bama. Wherever he coached we would've hated him because he is the best college football coach since bear bryant
I am a diehard Clemson fan and I hated his guts for many years. That being said I hated him mostly because he always found a way to come back the next year better and it sucked to play against. He was the best to do it
It’s strange how fast all the hate I had for this man turned to love when he announced his retirement he sacrificed so much of his life for football and I’m grateful
As a Clemson fan there will never be another man I’m honored to say I got to watch Sabin growing up and I will never forget some of the amazing games I have watched over the last 17 years nothing like SEC football and he was and still is the greatest of all time
Yea. I'm a buckeye fan and when they steamrolled bama in 2015 I loved it. But no matter who you are you can't deny his coaching and his passion and love for his players
I love seeing him enjoy his life and family. He has earned every bit of all the respect and love people have worldwide for him. We will love you forever Coach. Roll Tide
I’m a TN fan and even I can admit that he is the greatest college coach of all time. It’s gunna be weird not having him around to haunt everyone. Still hoping he may change his mind and come back. CFB won’t be the same without him.
honestly as a bama fan the weirdest thing to me in the last 15 years (since i graduated) was when they were getting all those penalties for holding against usf and just seeing an alabama hc just standing there with a nothing look on his face, no reaction whatsoever. i mean when they panned to saban in the stands he looked like he was thinking whos a---- do i need to chew out
i was never a nick saban fan just cause i hated seeing alabama win all the time, not cause i don’t like nick. i appreciate what he’s done for the game. the college football world will miss him for sure🙏🏼
Man everytime this man did win he showed great sportsmanship and humility and I think everyone can agree he’s the greatest college football coach of all time even if you hate him as a coach
If college football really wants to appoint a Commissioner then Saban would be the person needed to put some rules in place on guys transferring every year
@TheDingus-vp4ym The NCAA came up with several rule changes because of Saban. For the most part he followed the rules, but every competitor always looks for ways to stretch them.
Absolutely. He would really be perfect in that position. He loves the game of College football and the players. He has so much knowledge and wisdom and can relate to the players. He is a great teacher and has not only taught the players about the game but also how to be a man of integrity and about success when you are no longer able to play football.
@TheDingus-vp4ym He didn't play the system. He didn't have to, either. When your team is in the hunt for a National Championship almost every year, you don't resort to sign stealing, etc. to win a championship.
Ive been a bama fan since birth in the 80s. Thanks coach, you helped a whole new generation understand what it was like to be a fan during The Bears time.
I think of the BMW commercial about Dieter Zetsche every time I think of Saban. Thank you Saban for so many years of inspiring competition. The wins were always so much more golden.
As a Tennessee fan you know how many times this man destroyed my hopes and dreams yet I still think he's freaking awesome great ones just gotta be great

The 2nd best thing about Coach Sabin retiring is that he gets to share his knowledge of life and football with us, which is amazing. The 1st best thing about him retiring is obvious (GA fan here). :)
When Kalen looked like he was thinking about getting mad, I was was like "throw some headsets for pete's sake. Get angry man" . . . .time to break some headsets!
College football won’t be the same without Nick Saban. Love or hate him, dude was a staple.

As an Arkansas fan, I’m upset we never beat him at Alabama. We only beat him once as a coach and that was when he was at LSU. Over 20 years ago 🫠
