(Almost like you mixed it together with Sweden by C418) I loved it. The ambient rain sounds, the instrumentation, all of it. Very creative, and it has this great "taming the nether" kind of undertone, to me anyway. Am I the only one who got that impression?
Yes yes and yes. As much as I wanted it to be a lofi track I also wanted it to be imagined as something that C418 would create if he were to make lofi himself, like in a music disc or something. For example the piano I tried to make sound similar to the piano sound that C418 uses.
