That's true. It's usually because bigger channels tend to follow trends to stay relevant, therefore all of the popular stuff sounds the same, lacking personality.
Imo, the original was a basic sounding song. Not saying it’s bad, but it allows room for people to create their own interpretation of it. I heard people do a lot of hip hop remixes, someone doing a jazz remix and someone going a full 180 and doing a electro swing.
