I'm convinced the only reason those dudes doing random shit even exist in this game is that the dev bought some human assets for player characters (or they were free) and they just came with some animations and/or voicelines that the dev then forced scenarios around
I remember the older videos on Half Dead and i'm just confused, it looked like a decently fun game but now its just a broken mess where half the traps and online features don't seem to work

Man they really completely butchered the game I mean it wasn't anything GOTY before but man did they trash it between this stream and the first time they played
It's a fun game but gets old fast because "puzzles" arent really puzzles. Just throw your shoe into the room and see if it's a trap. My wife, her sister and I played this and the 3rd one a few times and it did entertain us for a while. I don't recommend playing the 3rd one.
How do you honestly make a game go from a fun looking indie title made by a small studio to something that looks like it was made by your 8 yr old nephew
@@Samuelrt5 All cube movies are ridiculous horror camp. They got a bit more silly as they went on, but they're really all very adjacent in quality. First one is cheesy as hell.
@@dopaminecloud the first one is great, they had a low budget and played around it pretty damn well. Its far from a masterpiece but its pretty great, i suposse knowing the concept behind it before watching takes away from the fun tho.
They had to add all the goofy wacky crazy silly haha NPCs to make the game seem more interesting. They are clearly meant for high comedy "Person hit the deadly thing, then oh no hehe haha, look at them get got for being silly little goobers." you know the type of stuff the mindless babies can giggle at to convince themselves they aren't just wasting time on a hot pile.
This is one of those games that ive seen a LOT of people play, but then amazed that Criekn wasnt among any of those people until now, this is something i thought i had already seen, but apparently never did, and now im glad i have :D
The game is based off the cube movies and in those movies the cube rooms do some wild stuff like bringing the past and future into the present also driving people into insanity. In a way thus game is very true to the movies, maybe the land mine guy is stuck in a loop, that happened in the movie, the nerdy guy got stuck in a loop of being cannibalized in the movie. Of course if you never seen the movies then this game looks like random nonsense
