A Custom Medium Ride is best to my ear.
Please try this again with a musical touch instead of a just hitting them hard.

I agree. These are RIDE cymbals, not CRASH cymbals. I want to hear the constant ping, wash and hum from each. Just hitting them doesn't tell me much.
