props to u girl, I actually can't play this game because it is just way too scary and disturbing for me I used to play Silent Hill Origins at 2am alone in my room. The ambience was INSANE... I was too scared to even go to the bathroom lmao Silent Hill was very influential, even to this day. In Resident Evil the protagonist is always a trained policeman or special agent, leaning more towards action as the franchise evolved. Eventually they went back to their roots of survival horror with RE7, a normal guy that got a message from his wife to go look for her in a remote place... sounds familiar Do you know about Silent Hills? They managed to put out a demo in 2014 before the game was cancelled. That demo alone was enough to revolutionize the horror game genre by itself! It was extremely scary and immersive, everyone was talking about it at the time. You've actually played some horror games that were directly inspired by this demo, such as Layers of fear and Madison. Silent Hill is an amazing franchise, I'm glad you're really enjoying it! I wonder if you would have played it if Ryukishi wasn't involved in that other game tho 🤔 Thanks for the stream!~
Really great stream today, Enna!! Im so glad you're enjoying SH2 as well. You always manage to make your playthroughs a uniquely "Enna" experience that you won't get anywhere else. The save fiasco at the start, constantly struggling for health, missing most of the bullets you fired, and the saver not gamer mentality were just some of the highlights of this game for me so far.
