Rhinog Fawr - where's the path ?

- Firstly I want to apologise for the format of this video, my camera was on the wrong setting. Like most of this walk it has not really worked out as I planned.
However it was still a great walk and a worthwhile adventure. The Rhinogs and their surrounding landscape are probably the wildest part of North Wales, paths are few and often indistinct and people are even fewer. It is tough walking as I discovered but if you really want to get away from it all it ticks the box.
I will return next year and climb Rhinog Fawr and finish the ridge walk of my original plan.
Really beautiful hike! Enjoyed the video very much. Thank you!
You tried Clive, full marks. Looks desolate and lovely with it.
What an adventure! Have to admire your fortitude and determination.
Thanks :)

Beautiful vid. Well I’m ready to get on the train and see for myself. Thanks❤
Hi Clive you looked worried at a few points there, you descended the South of Rhinog Fawr into Bwlch Drws Ardudwy its normally really boggy, the Rhinogs are famous for there lack of paths , the easiest way to navigate is by using the contour lines , and when really unsure break it down into 100m legs relocate then do same again. It is disappointing to not achieve what you set out to do, but its there for another day , so good call not going up Rhinog Fach and across Y Llether , hopefully catch you on a mountain soon, take care. Thanks for watching my video. I was surprised how tired I got I was not expecting the walk to take its toll on me so quickly, I was also quite frustrated with loosing the paths so often. Still it was a learning experience which I valued, and I did want to do the Rhinogs for their wildness. So I guess I truly got what I wanted.
Thanks for the advice, I will return sometime and do the other Rhinog. Was hoping to this year but so far it has not worked out.
