I have these 2 in kappa mids that I didn't really know what I was buying. Apparently they are component and I have a coaxial. Can I still use these in my stereo? I want to slice these into the dash speaker.

It irks to see that all this testing is done free air
I hope that will change in the near future, and that testing will improve to include frequency control as well as proper enclosure mounting

Hi sir, I'm looking to add some speakers to my 2006 Subaru impreza wrx sti. I believe the biggest speaker I can run are 6.5's in both he front and rear, and they seem to have a separate tweeter near top of doors in front only. Can you recommend some great quality speakers for under 150 dollars a pair. In my lightning I have some infinitys and think they sound awesome but want to see if there's better out there in that price range, and if there is something absolutely better that's a little over my price range let me know too. For the record I will be running a5 channel amp with a sub,i don't play my music so anyone outside the car can hear with that being said, I do like listening to music loud at times and I love it when I'm able to do that without sacrificing clarity

Motor structure mostly. Magnet and voice coil windings and size. With the larger more powerful speakers the cone material surround, spider and basket material all come into play.
