So what if that person had turned themselves in and have already been released from jail and a bootlicker citizen saw that individual who had just been released and assaulted that person while making a citizen’s arrest and something fatal happened? It’s a bad idea and they shouldn’t do it.

If he weren't on the run and or in jail then I might give him some benefit of doubt depending on the time since last caught committing a crime. @AJthe13th Рік тому

no, all of this is public record already. I have a good deal of legal experience, as I am studying at a law school, and have clerked at a law firm for a year. The problem with this is that because all of this info is public record, it's completely available to everyone at large. This lawsuit fails due to 2 things. One, there was no breach of a duty that the sheriff's office had. They essentially broke no rules, because they were merely dispersing publicly available info. But secondly, and very important if you disagree with point one, the case fails to prove causation, because one cannot really prove that but for the sheriff sharing his name, the loss of potential jobs and reputation would not have occurred. People in the community just as plausibly could have seen it when they conducted their standard background checks. There is next to zero basis for claiming that "but for the sheriff's actions, the damages to Gay's reputation would not have occurred."
This is a legal term of art, and it must be met, it's called the "but-for test."
This case is likely to fail, as a result. I'd be happy to reply to questions you have about it further, but it seems like this case is for the birds, as they say.

This isn't in defense of criminal actions:
The police shouldn't be doing this. I understand the logic behind why they'd think it's a good idea, however this could possibly jeopardize cases as well as lead to more lawsuits.
If these people are not in jail, regardless of their warrants, you cannot imply they are guilty by putting them on a "wheel of fugitives".
They deserve the same due process as everyone else, being innocent until proven guilty.
Blasting their faces because they have warrants out for their arrest is a recipe for slander lawsuits and dropped charges.

USING THE SAME FBI UNIFORM CRIME REPORT AS USED ON CITIZENS FROM 2005 -2012 THERE WERE 6,596 POLICE ARRESTED 802 MULTIPLE TIMES 1,219SEX RELATED WITH MORE THAN HALF THE VICTIMS BEING 17 YEARS OLD & YOUNGER 388 FORCED FONDLING 355 FORCED RAPE 1,019 ABUSE OF POWER OATH VIOLATIONS 846 DRUG RELATED 227 MULTIPLE TIMES & THE FED.GOVT DOESN'T COLLECT DATA ON MOST POLICE ARREST OR CONVICTIONS. HOWEVER ACCORDING TO THE "POLICE CRIME DATA BASE 8,006 POLICE ARRESTS RESULTING IN 13,623 CHARGES INVOLVING 6,596 COPS LESS THAN 1% CHARGED WITH MURDER ARE CONVICTED BUT 90% OF CITIZENS CONVICTED "RED FLAG" "ALERT ALERT ALERT"??? WTF??? EVERY 7 HOURS COPS KILL AMERICAN CITIZENS (DOES NOT COUNT ILLEGALS)??? COSTING TAX PAYERS $1,800,000,000 EACH YEAR .POLICE WERE SURVEYED RESULTING IN THEIR OWN ADMISSION: 43% BREAK THE LAW IN DUTY 52% TURN A BLIND EYE 61%DON'T ALWAYS REPORT SEVERE ABUSE OF POWER & 84% WITNESS ABUSE OF POWER !!! POLICE ARE OUT OF CONTROL IN THIS COUNTRY !!! MY UNCLE WAS (DECEASED NOW)RETIRED SHERIFF OVER 30 YEARS MY COUSIN CHIEF GAME WARDEN NOW RETIRED IS NOW PASTOR OF CHURCH . NONE OF THESE STATISTICS COVERED FED LAW ENFORCEMENT.
DOES ANYBODY WONDER WHY THIS IS THE NEWEST AVAILABLE REPORT A 11 YEAR OLD REPORT?
