A CHARITY in the UK has organised the world's largest ever gathering of primordial dwarfs. There is thought to only be around 200 individuals globally with primordial dwarfism - which leaves people extremely short in stature but with their bones and organs in proportion to their bodies, unlike with other types of dwarfism. Thirty five (35) primordial dwarfs flew into Liverpool from all around the world to meet others like them and help raise awareness of the hyper-rare condition. The Walking With Giants Foundation (WWGF), founded by Sue and John Connerty, from Liverpool, have been running the week-long convention for nine years.

I'm from Australia and I can confirm Leo is superman and he does protect our country.
I can also confirm that
It's November 2020 now. How is Leo?
@@lolacat2420 so far Australia has had no issues so i assume he is stil out there protecting us in some way.
Yep, I can confirm that too!
I ALMOST DIED YESTERDAY WHY DIDNT HE TRY TO SAVE ME
Aaww, when he started to cry, I couldn't hold in my tears no longer. He and his wife are angels on earth❤Those children are beautiful along their parents.
Most of them aren't even children 😅😶
Yep, that’s the part that go me to. So inspiring to see normal people who are faced with a huge life-challenge, turn around and do something remarkable with it to help other facing the same thing. Makes me wonder what I could be doing with the challenges in my own life besides complain about them.
No, most of them are children. You could tell that by the age of the parents. But also, people with primordial dwarfism tend not to live beyond 30.
Really? How awful for the poor parents 😢
Everytime I loose faith in humanity, I see something like this. God bless everyone involved.
Same here.
Amen to that.
"I really am super man! I protect the people... Of Australia." Lol! Best line ever! It's too much to protect the world so going country by country is way more feasible! These families are awesome! All the best to them Xx

Aww, the father at the end... it's okay to cry. It's lovely to see how emotional you can get when talking about your amazing son.
All of these parents are tough cookies!
Well done to the couple who founded and run this great event. It’s good to know there are still good kind people out there
All these parents are absolutely amazing, going wayyyy out of their way even flying out to make sure their kid gets to experience others like them. I'm so amazed by their parenting skills. The parents who put on this event, holly crap he deserves father of the year award. I don't even have kids and I'm totally inspired by their attitude, hope every one of those kids achieve great success and happiness. After all happiness is success..
The kid from australia seems like a cool guy... I'd like to meet him
+Parker Barandon His name is Leo Lagana and he's around 16.
I live in Australia and I am 99% sure he used to go to my school he is a really nice guy but it was sad that he got bullied a lot. everyone used to call him "little Leo". I am really happy to see that he is doing well. :)
I would like to meet him too. He seems (excuse the pun) down to earth and very approachable. I suspect that he is an affable teenage boy and highly intelligent despite his seemingly childlike stature from a distance. I hope he finds solace in whatever field he will ultimately engage in when he enters the workforce. 🤗
P.S.
Why would anyone bully little people?
I could understand if they had a peculiar trait or behaviour issue but not for being small statured. That is wrong on so many levels.😖
@BlindBear you are absolutely right!
I experienced terrible bullying from my first moment at school. To the point where I just wanted to die. The one thing it did for me though is I will never stand by & let anyone get bullied.
My heart melted. They are all so precious! I just wanted to cuddle Emma she is so beautiful!
The little red headed girl is the absolute cutest thing in the entire world
I remember when she was the focus of a TV show about this type of dwarfism. She is absolutely adorable, I agree!
I'm glad to see parents having these events for each other and the kids can meet other friends. That they're excepted by. Really touches the heart we all need a buddy.

Primordial Dwarfs are so adorable and have the cutest voices. Such precious human beings.
They don't live long.so it's more sad than precious.
if we all looked exactly alike how boring would that be? each individual has something unique to gift the world with
IKR
Oh yeah! It really must be amusing to have primordial dwarfism in order to be different! Well, yes, you get physical deformality but that is nothing compared to LOOKING ORIGINAL! (please if you have nothing clever to say, then don't say anything, just shut up. This is not any hate speech towards people affected by this kind of illness, it's just to say how stupid your comment is).
@@jocao2831 Why don't we just accept a well-meant comment and focus that bitterness on the hateful ones?
@@jocao2831 I do agree, I really don't understand this misunderstanding of what difference is. Why would a world made of healthy people be boring ?
It's like saying "Fortunately some people are physically disabled, otherwise I wouldn't be entertained" :/ I know the original comment did not mean that, but someone could read it this way.
What exists for these people nowadays is amazing but If there was a solution to cure them, that would be a crime not to do it. It's important not to forget that this situation is not normal, the real issue is to think that not being normal makes you worth less. That's my opinion.
(And I know the first comment was well-intentioned, the topic just deserves to be developed)
That's why God created us different boomerang the heavens
'I really am superman, I protect the people of Australia' made me burst in tears

This family is SO amazing to help others. 😘😘 brings tears to my eyes
That's some damn amazing people right there. Very inspirational.
This is so amazing. I remember when I watched this couple when they were raising money for their first convention and I’m so proud of them and it brings me comfort knowing how far they have come and that they continue to raise awareness and bring these family’s together. These little people are beautifully unique
Seriously? Shame on the people who down voted this story of love, hope, understanding, and togetherness. Must be pretty sad to feel that way! Kudos to the family who started this foundation! God bless all of you! 💜
It really annoys me that people are commenting saying that all these kids are really adorable. They might be small but they don't necessarily have the mind of babies so it isn't right to degrade them by treating them like them.
omg when kid put the birdie on his head! it was bigger than him, so cute!
I love that you have turned something kind of unknown into such a positive experience for these children and their families! So much love and support to all!
I'm so glad to see Alex in this one. He looks amazing. His parents are amazing. If they hadn't gone out themselves and found the Little People convention and then the doctors there, he wouldn't have had any help.

Charlotte! I'm happy to see that she's doing well. ♡
Wow! I'm up at 1:30 am and I really enjoyed this video. Very informative. I'm glad that Sue and John brought everyone together.
Watching this video made me feel very humble. I fell in love with the boy running around like any child enjoying a game of football and felt for every family there. My Nephew had a rare condition with only 20 known cases in the world when he was born. Told he would not reach his first birthday he died just after his fifteenth and met every challenge with grace, humour and bravery. I look up to any child, born unique who reaches for the stars that we can only gaze at from afar. Love and blessing to each of them from someone who knows just how amazingly special each of you are xxxxxxxx
anyone else see baby Charlotte in the video and just gets so happy she is lovely

these comments piss me off, why can't the human species realize that not everyone is going to be born the same way. There has to be diversity among the species, even disabilities and genetic disorders, it actually helps to understand the human body, I just wish all you people who feel sorry for them could just go live on a planet where everyone is the same in everyway, then maybe you'll find a way to talk down about something else
