DIY: Vintage Rock T's Bleach Tie Dye Tutorial Fast,Easy, and Cheap!!!

- Hey guys awesome way to bleach vintage style rock/ band T shirts yourself without spending so much money! hope you all enjoy let me know what kind of awesome tie dye shirts you guys do in the comments down below :)!
1. Bowl Method
-Fill bowl/ bin with bleach and dip bottom or top section of shirt into the the bowl of bleach
- let shirt sit in bleach for 5min
-squeeze bleach out of the shirt and repeat till you are satisfied with the outcome
2. Bottle Cap Method
-Lay shirt out on table, floor, or flat surface
-Fill bottle cap up with bleach and throw bleach onto shirt
- spread bleach with fingers and repeat filling bottle cap with bleach
-let shirt dry for 5 min and flip shirt over
-continue filling cap with bleach and spreading on back of the shirt
-let dry for 5min until satisfied with bleach pattern
3. Pin Wheel Method
-Pinch middle of shirt and twist in circular motion
-once shirt is spun into circle begin to use rubber bands to secure shirt in circular form
-put rubber bands all over till shirt is secure and stays in circular form
-use spray bottle to start bleaching let dry for 5min
-flip shirt over and bleach opposite side till satisfied with pattern
PRO TIP: look up tie dye videos for more unique ways to tye dye cool patterns, DONT be afraid to use alot of bleach on shirts!!!! :), and finally DONT be afraid to size up because shirts WILL shrink if you dry them in a machine and do NOT hang dry shirts

Since bleach is very dangerous I recommend every one to wear a long sleeve, safety goggles,a bandanna, and long gloves because you will be spraying the and you definitely don't want it in your eyes. Stay safe and have fun.

all you have to do is let it sit in the bleach for a longer time the longer it is soaked in bleach the different the pattern will come out try using thick bleach aswell if possible :)

If you got a XXL what size do you normally wear to get the right shrink?
I usually wear large so I go up 2 sizes if the shirt is thin material and I will go up 1 size of the shirt is thicker material

Do you wait for shirts to dry after dipping in bleach before throwing in the washing machine?
yes because if you throw them in right away you will get a whiteish orange color if you wait you should get a darker orange like mine :)

Yo, say I want my rock tees to just have a looser and longer fit like the shirts in your video do. What should I do buy it one size up and throw it in the dryer?
it depends on the material of the shirt hot topic has really thin shirts so i actually went up 2 sizes if the shirt is a thick material i would only size up once but like I said if it is a thin material go 2 sizes up so it wont shrink as much :)

How do you make the bleach brown on the shirt
you add a little bit of water into the thick liquid bleach and ring the shirts out and keep soaking the shirt till it abosrbs all the bleach so dont use to much bleach

Henry chan bleach is very damaging. it breaks down the fabric. use half water half bleach on most of the shirt and then get some parts lighter with pure bleach

With the bowl technique, how did you manage to achieve those different shades of orange? From the bottom, it goes from bright, to medium, to a darkish orange
I just did this shit it's the amount of time you leave. It in the bleach

yes exactly and let it dry as much as possible before washing it
+PCast TV so you did the bowl technique is sessions? The bottom part you left the longest, let it completely dry, then dip it again for less time, let it dry, and then one more for a really short time, and let it dry? Sorry for the questions, just really not trying to mess up my shirts
yea the first layer was in the bleach for 10 mins it soaked up all the bleach and the other sections of the shirt where hit with the bleach that i squeezed out of the shirt and was soaked in for about 5min and yea no problem man whatever helps you get the design you want :) make sure to use thick liquid bleach also
