It's crazy how Slayer-Defeat is so much more emotional than the victory counterpart. Slayer-Victory sounds like what you'd expect from a galant victory. Defeat sounds melancholic but hopeful.
I like that the defeat music in this game does not induce rage like some other games (*cough* R6 Siege, along with the "Heartbreaking Defeat" text for close matches).
Another interesting thing about the slayer themes is that the victory theme has an ascending chord progressions while the defeat theme has a descending one. It’s something that I’ve picked up since I first heard the two and I haven’t seen anyone mention yet and I always thought it was a cool detail

Like strongholds is a kind of pushy "do better you wimp!" and same with the craziness in the stockpile themes. That's why i think the oddball theme is best. It is like "keep trying and you will emerge victorious" when you lose.
I appreciate that it's less rage inducing than other defeat music from other games. I mentioned R6 before, but Apex also has really annoying defeat music.

Idk it kinda was just love at first sound when I won a slayer match in the flight and every game from there I was hoping to get a slayer match just to hear the victory music but when I lost for the first time I wasn't mad because the defeat music is just as good
The defeated team should lay down their weapons and kneel in surrender to prevent losing players from being able to take a meaningless kill shot at a winning player out of rage. Furthermore if a winning player "executes" a losing player during the brief window before the game ends, the latter should automatically forfeit 1,000 points to the former.

most of the loss tracks are arguably bette than the victory ones, so i’m not as mad when i lose a game, which is awesome
Everyone keeps saying this. I agree with you for slayer and strongholds, but not CTF and oddball.

I've only been able to find the postgame slayer music. The other ones (objective game types) are so much better in my opinion.

For defeats I personally prefer slayer and strongholds. But a lot of people like the one for CTF as well.
