    Realistically, most men could raise their score by a max of 4 or 5, which would be a significant difference - based on fitness, mentality, clothes, posture/manners, grooming

    • @Gent.Z
      @Gent.Z  Місяць тому +18

      Absolutely. Sure, Harry Styles has a naturally handsome face, which not every man does, however, his 'incel' character still has the same physique, so the transformation could have been even more dramatic!

      4 or 5 is a stretch. One would have to be a different person lol
      This channel is a bit whack. The host lives in fantasy land. Parents give him money and he talks about being a gentleman. But I can GUARANTEE in person he’s a wet noodle.

    Right on. At any age we can lose our mojo and find ourselves in a rut. Simple action steps from when you wake up in the morning to when you retire can boost your day. Like a famous Navy Seal Commander once said at a graduation ceremony 'The simple act of making your bed in the morning is s first step in accomplishment' and the rest will follow.

    Very good video James! Though I am a bit more on the eccentric side, I do already follow the steps you have laid out. I am a big fan of true 30s-50s style clothing so I do wish there was the same level of detail to the clothing and making it an accurate depiction of the 50s cut, but I suppose that is mostly irrelevant to the video.

    • @Gent.Z
      @Gent.Z  Місяць тому +3

      I'm certainly an eccentric too - luckily I've been able to make a living out of it 😂 I loved the 50s setting of this movie. I would have enjoyed it just as much if there had been no simulation/reality storyline and we just got to see Harry Styles and Florence Pugh enjoying their stylish, sexy Palm Springs life.

    Hey, I love your videos. I work a blue collar job outside. Almost every day I'm getting covered in mud, sweat and dirt. My clothing really takes a beating and wears out quickly. Lots of snags and tears in the fabric. My fashion needs to be more practical than stylish. Yet, I don't like going about my day looking like a bum either. So far, I went from old jeans and t-shirts to durable cargo pants/chinos and golf/polo shirts and it's working pretty well so far. If you're looking for video ideas, I would love to see your take on fashion for people in my situation. Thanks.

      @@oreilly81 Hi, it sounds like you have made some great changes to your style. I am planning on making a video about classic western wear which I think provides an example of how to dress with timeless style while being considerate of practicalities.

    Attitude means so much. A confident man takes care of himself. You are in the best position to direct how others view you. On a scale of 1 to 10, it is entirely possible to up your score (or lower it) substantially just by the choices you make to your appearance.

    I’ve lived a lot longer and have been privy to a lot of social situations.
    The only thing that differentiates at 2 or a 10 is attitude. And well, personal hygiene. No one wants to be around stinky Joe.
    Just be yourself. Be comfortable with who you are. And your inner self will shine through regardless how you dress. Again, just no stinky Joe.

    Good movie for guys to watch,and ruminate on.
    Incited some controversy when it premiered,as the director said Chris Pine's character was influenced by Jordan Peterson,and the movie was intended as a critique of "incel culture".
    Peterson actually burst into tears while responding to her criticisms.

      I'm saying that imagine a guy who's a 2/10 sees your comment and learns that he will only ever improve enough to be considered a 6/10, it's discouraging and untrue. Even the most hideous of men can change a couple of things short term and see a great improvement in their attractiveness. 6/10 is only the ceiling if you think you can't do any better, and almost everybody can do better than a 6.

    I know this video isn’t analysis on the film but I do find it fascinating that Incel Jack still has what it takes to be a man. In the movie he’s working a dead end job to pay for the simulation so that Alice can live a stress free life. IMO even though he’s portrayed as the villain in the film he’s sacrificing so much just for her happiness. Of course he’s trapped her and she values her freedom more than anything but I cant help to think that when all is said and done and she goes back working 16 hour shifts at the hospital she will miss her simple life in the simulation. Of course Jack should have just tried his best in the real world but who knows what was going on outside of the film maybe there were tough economic conditions, automation of entry level jobs etc. Jack was either backed into a corner or he did have bad intent and wanted to trap her. It’s all up to interpretation but I can see arguments for both sides.
