I've watched this concert many times ❤ It makes me Happy ❤ You are the Best Mr John Fogerty and your Boys are following in your footsteps 🎉 So Happy Your Year has been so Excellent ❤Hope to see you again in concert 🎶 soon❤ Your Fan Always Rita ❣️
Just saw him in Atlanta on Wednesday night AND CCR was my very first concert Houston Texas 1971. Still my favorite musician after 52 years. So great that he out lived all the sons-a-bitches and got back what he so richly deserves. A true American treasure.
There are hundreds of reasons why STATUS QUO were/are the best and greatest Rock Band in the Universe' history and this is just one of them. As chance has it Rick Parfitt was in his car when Fogerty's version came on the radio. Rick said "Ooooh, I think we could do something with that" His QUO Bandmates were initially reluctant, though after some coaxing from Rick, the boys gave in. Note in the video that Alan Lancaster is played by a man size puppet, due to him refusing to fly from Australia where he lived. It's not QUO's biggest hit, though it is one of their biggest and most popular. On the 13th July 1985, the crowd at LIVE AID went absolutely berzerk when QUO walked out onto the stage, then they went up several levels when they opened the legendary event with "Rockin' All Over The World" It is one of only a few QUO songs that Rick plays Lead Guitar. It's a great song and QUO give it a lot of energy. RIP - Rick and Alan
Unfortunately John ignored Quo when they were on the same bill at Montreux in 2009. Quo wanted to perform Raotw with him but couldn’t even get to speak to him
@@standman525 looks like Fogerty is a jealous grumpy man, as his live performance of the song is much weaker than Quo's. Playing the song with Quo would have made a worldwide event (I'm sure a single would have followed immediately).
Grande John Fogerty. Embalou minha juventude com a banda Creedence, depois solo, voz inimitável e continua na estrada, agora fazendo uma grande turnê na Europa, espero que continue assim pôr muito tempo, embalando nossas vidas.👏👏👏🤗
so tired of hearing his speech about how he got screwed over, he still sounds great, let it rest already, you got your music back a long long long time ago. ENOUGH!
All the comments on here about Quo playing this song, they seem to believe that Quo were a super group when they were not , not even sure if they had any response in the charts to the song in the US
The USA had an excess of redneck boogie bands. They didn't want a cool and classy English band to show the American public that they were better than the American bands. There was an organised conspiracy to block QUO out of the USA by record companies and radio stations because QUO were a trillion times better than the mediocre boogie bands the USA had. Status Quo were massive everywhere else World-wide.
I was there with my family & it was such an amazing night!

John would love to see you in Adelaide south Australia again. Long road home concert was superb.
God Bless Johnn.
CCR yesss awesome !
Keep Rockin John !
John is a genius and quo is a great rock and roll band too..!
John Fogerty and Francis Rossi need to perform this together seeing as Rick Parfitt sadly passed away.
Let's hope and do it before it's too late

@@wirelessboogie I agree, he's a bit pathetic. I imagine he's lived a very, very comfortable life off the Quo royalties.
@@IfInDoubt.. that's no doubt, I'm sure you're right about the royalties.
Was ein toller rock❤❤❤
I'm thinking John had his 78th Birthday on day of this concert. Irregardless if my recall is functioning correctly, he's going strong & soundng great.
I Think his birthday was a couple of days later
@@tarzanjesus You are correct it was May 28th. Anyway he is 78 now & going strong.

He’s a yank,it’s what they do
미국 음악의 영웅 이십니다,,,,
Shoulda got Francis Rossi to guest with him as a tribute to Rick! Quo did it best!
Música maravilhosa o mundo está a precisar mais música maravilhosa destas música com alma

Doesn't get any better
He wrote it, but Quo made this song and hit it out of the park i love john but he should've mentioned quo
❤💯💖✨️🌟🎼🎶🎵👁❗️👍👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻👂🏻💖👂🏻💖💯❓️👈👁❗️
He might have wrote the song and originally recorded it BUT Status Quo made it what it is.
This is the Orginal its not from Status Quo, i like john an his Musik its Great
Ha! Trust the Bassist to neck the glass!!! :-P
No mention of the Quo for the very large royalty cheque or the fact they made a very mediocre song so popular
