I noticed this too. I'm sure that when you are doing a lot of commentary it's easy for "word of the weeks" to happen. Then you realize it and over correct to another word and the cycle continues.
"I thought he hit Madison Walker." 🤣🤣🤣 Now, I say this with ALL the love in the world, but Jerm's gotta forget his commentary/watching from the day before. I'm excited he's working with DGN (congratulations) but this feels less like reacting to what's happening as we see it, and more like telling us a story we aren't there for. Full respect for the Big guy and my birthday buddy. ('85 was a good year) Just my 2c.
Sucks these three are really the only good commentators disc golf has. Gatekeeper was always completely unwatchable because of how dull and lifeless their commentary always was. We just don't have enough bodies for good commentary on both live and post production.
i must say i dont enjoy this weeks commentary with jerm knowing all the shots as much as the other coverages. him constantly saying "and look at this paul" when he knows something is about to happen etc. the genuine reactions are what makes jerm such a great commentator, he has so much enthusiasm for great shots and funny mishaps. this kinda takes aways from that i feel.
I can’t wait to see what changes they make to this course. There are some pretty awesome holes here already but definitely a few weird ones that are just there because golf course

Oh no... AB made hole 1 look so hard. Power and distance not always necessary, as well as risky decisions on Hole 5 costing him some strokes. But I'm a big AB fan, love watching him grow (and Win this year!)
Not sure if others feel this way, but while I appreciate the chase card check ins, I think they should be used more sparingly. Keep them for super insane highlights or coming down the stretch if it heavily affects the standings of the tournament. It’s cool to see other players but I sometimes feel like I just see random players getting a birdie with a pretty good putt, which kind of distracts from the lead card action I want to watch.

When you affirm how good/bad the shot is mid way through the flight before we have figured it out ourselves, you take away from the experience. I know it’s a new spot for you, just giving you a tips to amp up our experience as viewers!
He consistently does way too much. His constant talking, his obnoxious gasps, breathing into the mic, and interrupting Paul makes him my least favorite commentator.
2:25…..Big Jerm teach Uli how to say “play well” instead of “play good”. So many commentators and players do this. Not a good look for educated people seeing the sport for the first time. 😂

I understand big jerm has a great opportunity here and he should always worry about number 1 first. But, DGN is doing us a disservice by merging these two media outlets. Jerm on double duty does affect his commentary here and the professional that he is, i know he can clean it up. Hopefully, we can get thru this transition period and come out with positives for the viewer. Corporate greed says otherwise, but i will stay hopeful.
