I am not a seeker of lofi, but intriguing once heard and playing with it! Actually I’ve spent a ton of money for the cleanest sound available! The Caitlinbread, Somersault, and the Alexander syntax error along with the Roland SPx-mark 2 and the Dreadbox Typhonwith a sprinkle Lore and Fable with a pinch of Microcasm and some Earthquaker data corrupter. If you’ve got a better recipi I’m all ears! Here’s the deal in slicing things manually! To slice with fx or slice dry then add fx or both? lol I’ve spent hours making that decision for a micro-second of sound! I use the Roland SP mark 2 and recently the micro-freak! Great video, loved it! On the PO try Bluetooth if you have Bluetooth send/receive laying around! It’s only audio (of course) I bounce like twenty of them at Amazon for for like $35 it offers more options! Also running the KO thru the Microfreak works as well!
Minor thing. Doesn't the Volca Sample "only" offer 8 notes polyphony? When I've tried having it play more than 8 samples at once, I start having issues, and one sample will start getting cut out.
I already have the liven lofi 12 and Korg Volca sample - probably time to add the po 33 for more quick sample chopping on the fly
Amazing beat 🔥 I am really enjoying your videos on the lo fi 12 and appreciate your videos on this fantastic sampler
so glad to hear that!

Track is fire 🔥
Nice, So i could sync my lofi 12 to my po33 and use the lofi12 for drums&bass and use the po33 for chops. would i still need a mixer for that?
love this video - ps where are your glasses from?
thanks! just my local opticians! the brand is Saraghina
Love some lofi. Microgranny is another lofi tool

oh word??? never realised that! I was sure it was 10. thank you for pointing that out! I guess I never used 10 voices at the same step
it might also be that 9-10 are locked to being a choke group. i always forget about that.
@@Hinoirocks I believe I tested it, and it still maxed out at 8 simultaneous samples, not 9. But I ought to re-test to be sure!
@@MilesJams no, you're right, official manual says 8 voices. the old electribe, the es-1, was the same.
If you need to press play anyway why not just set them to the same bpm and skip the sync cables?
great question! if you don't sync them, they eventually drift apart in tempo after a while. try it!
i thought the volca sample was 12 bit
I thought so too, but according to the official page it's 16! www.korg.com/us/products/dj/volca_sample2/specifications.php
Kicks Like a Mule called. ;)
yeah that's my jammmmmmm
Sampler can't sample? Gtfoh
