The attachment on the skid steer is quite impressive. Moving all those big rocks around quite effortlessly. Your ambition is the whole reason I watch you. So tired of people who expect someone else to do the job when they can do it themselves.
I have been a loyal follower of Andrew's for over 5 yrs now, ever since my husband showed me ONE video of his over 5 yrs ago and I just stcuk with it, and also started following others in his field, and across the country as well. Andrew has never dissappointed me in either content or in the work he does filming and editing his videos, they are all awesome and he just gets better. THIS build I have been waiting for for a bit over two yrs now, since he first stated in a former video that he was planning on doing this and then got sidetracked with blowing up mountians, building roads, buying other property, [ which I am so happy he did cause he garentees him more privacy and more open to doing anything with his equiptment at ANY time of the day or night without others close by to complain , so great move there ] But this build I thought would never be completed, and NOW looks like Andrew is back on track and this will finally come true. Andrew, I am so happy for you, for your lifestyle and all that you have accomplished in your young life. You have busted your hump for everything that you have gotten and God bless you for it all. May you continue to prosper, and move forward in your business and your home as well. Look forward to the next video! and all those in the future! Appreicated.
Hey Andrew, I've been hooked to your videos since the culvert days, and I have to say they just get better and better! I know it takes a lot of time with camera placement, angles, drone shots, and hours of editing, which is noticed and appreciated. I'm surprised you don't have a walk behind leaf blower with all of that land.
For pressuring the fuel tank. Use the rubber part of a plunger, bore a hole through the center of the plunger, glue a tire valve in the hole. Wait for the glue to set. Next time you want to blow air through the tank, use a regular air chuck. I made one for unblocking floor drains
There's hand pumps you can buy that retrofit into the original fuel filler hole. In normal operation, you can pressurize and depressurize the tank with a valve and whenever you want to fuel the tank you twist the whole assembly like you'd twist a fuel cap. Caveat: at least on the unit i saw (rented dozer) the filter mesh was missing, and i had to use a mesh from another unit. It's possible that it came with one, but i'm not sure. Rented stuff abides by the "use it like you stole it",... so yeah. The thing looked really pro. Like heavy duty stampings, not the cheap sh!t you'd buy from the usual suspects. Might even be an official Hitachi item.
Hello, The amount of time and effort Andrew puts into editing is amazing. Always a great video. Who said time travel isn’t possible when blue was a baby again. Watching these adventures makes you appreciate his hard work. Ty for being one of the top 5 YT channels.

56:35 Just for the guys not up with the latest, the PINK re-bar is Owen-Corning Pink Fiberglass re-Enfocnig rod! :) It's lighter. stronger AND cheaper than steel, and never rusts!
That's new to me and super interesting. Grady on Practical Engineering should put out a video about it. He has covered enough disasters where rusting rebar has cause concrete to crack and bloody great buildings and bridges to fail.
I have fiberglass rods laid in my shop’s floor. My contractor probably thought I was going to berate him when I spotted them and said something. Nope, I was happy. No spalling. I was kind of shocked to see them as folks in my area aren’t the speediest to change approaches and I forgot to ask for them.
Andrew, I didn’t realize how much I missed you and your videos until I started watching this one. Thank you for sharing your life and projects with us for so many years!
All this is so cool, the man always finds a solution, the problem with people like Andy is the more hypnotic videos they put out on YT the less "I" get done.
incredible project. i was wondering if the "Castle" was being neglected due to the focus on the 'west mountain' but was pleasantly surprised to see renewed focus on the home base. it feels like home base with the home and the past history. great job.
Excellent. Andrew works for 3 seasons and records videos. In winter, he edits and broadcasts videos one after the other. Your method is great. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I could feel the anxiety in Andy when that much concrete was dumped out and a lot of work needed to be done all at once. Had great help but could have used a couple more pair of hands that really understood what needed to be done.. quickly. Good job in the end. Know your helpers were very tired at the end of the day.
That was a simple pour but a big pour. I'm not gonna bash someone learning what to do with concrete, especially when it's learned under the pressure of an actual pour and the clock is ticking for it to go off. He needed at least one more hand that was experienced.
That’s a whole lot of concrete for 3 individuals to pour, but you all got the job done and it looks great. I’m always amazed how you can make that equipment look like an extension of your self and that it does exactly what is needed to get the job done. Looking forward to seeing the rest of that massive garage built.
New or old footage, Andrew has been putting in some major editing time. The guy is busy one way or another. It’s pretty easy to put an AC video on the tv and watch it like a regular feature length show and the kids love it!
This is the time you realize you really need another all in one outside storage rack. For all your attachments, parts and materials. GJ Andrew on the first one👍👍
MAJOR upgrade! Finally a real detached, enclosed barn. This is one of the most awesome things since the castle build. Huge level up. Can't wait to see the walls.
That was fun seeing that little bobcat type machine with the claw. I was amazed how it could pick up those heavy rocks, and how versatile that claw is. Great work!
I have watched Andrew from his very earliest videos. He has become a true videoaugrapher the editing is super seamless and music selection is always spot on. This is why his channel will keep on going. I just enjoy the content and the dogs are just the cherry on top.

He wouldn't be doing it without the UA-cam money. When he started his channel he used to actually do real work at peoples houses/property and get paid for it.. Now days he just fucks around his own property and buying shit he dont need.
buying shit he dont need , chill man ! he love it . he can buy it . i hate that stupid mentality of you need to get $$$$ from it to buy it LOL you jealous ? yes he have all that stuff and dont do alot of work for other people ...? Who care ? Only you bud ! sorry . @@k1leon

They’ll never understand that we don’t enjoy drama in shows (they’re so convinced that they manufacture it.) We just want to watch something broken get fixed, or a slab become a shop, or trees become lumber…
you would think a 96 minute video about pouring concrete slabs would be boring to watch. Under normal circumstances you'd be correct, however Andrew Camarata makes it very entertaining. You never know exactly what he's doing, but it happens in a way that you'd never think of and to of an outcome totally unexpected. I bewildered at the fact that this channel doesn't have more than 5 million subscribers. I have watched every and enjoyed every video since the wood heated hot tub video.
I love how this channel always delivers as promised. Just started the video but I know I am going to see some stuff get moved and some concrete get poured. And I will be entertained.

Andrew... I'm watching again to learn what I missed the first viewing... I love what you are doing to your place... I want to pour a floor in my hay barn... Put in a hoist and make a shop out of it... Hopefully with an overhead crane... That will give me a 28 x 30 covered space to work on stuff... 2 tractors, my truck, riding lawn tractor, flatbed trailer, hay baler, drum mower, 60" rototiller, snow blower etc... I've got a bus load of tools, 3 welders and they will have a good home... I should have had this stuff years ago but at 75, it's not too late... Dave
I think myself and 95% of the people watching Andrew is both jealous and admiring him at the same time! This is the perfect life! 👌 a while ago in a video he was talking about doing this with the garage so I was so excited to see he started it 😎
A forklift with pheunamitic tires is what's needed to run around in the gravel with. Same size forklift or a little bit bigger than that one but with pheunamitic tires and there won't be a problem on the gravel or dirt and would still be fine on concrete ofcourse. Those solid wheels are great for inside on smooth concrete but nothing else. I'm sure Mr. Andrew knows this. It would definitely be useful for him to have one I think, especially there at the shop/castle. 👍
I only wanted to watch the pour lol. I just watched the entire video and a dog went from a pup to grown lol. This was super fun to watch. I didn't realize how long the time line is on this, but I started asking questions about the puppy lol.

I think you had trouble with the gas-powered screeding tool because the concrete was a little wet. Working concrete is really an art that takes time to learn and master. Everything starts with a thought and only takes effort to start and finish add tips to you and yours Andrew and of course may you all be abundantly blessed
Thanks, yeah, you’re probably right, I think the board was better anyway for that. Next time, I have to do a floor like that I will probably get a power trowel, and try that, I’ve never used one before.
@@AndrewCamarata 100% need to power trowel these slabs. I love everything you do EXCEPT your slab work. I still say you would benefit so much with the finishing side of your concrete work if you spent a week or so with a good concrete crew.
Just a friendly suggestion . Bolt the side beams to the uprights . We have had them pop loose when moving pallets .The forklift driver nearly hit in head .A metal coils that did not go from beam to beam . It fell thru the rack also. We used one for a press die rack . I tried to get them to bolt it down .They did not untill the rack fell and damaged over 20 calibrated dies .
On all the pallet racking I've assembled there are supposed to be clips which go in to prevent the beams from lifting out. They are just a lug on a spring steel clip, but are surprisingly effective.

With the concerete planing device thing it's really cool to see how easy Andrew makes some of these things look. Until you explained you need to twist the handle to make it switch I just assumed it did that automatically by the direction of the friction.
Good stuff once again! Loved the "I need to sell this."... "For sale a forklift, good condition, no dents!"... *reverses the thing into the buyers trailer* ;D

It's crazy how pristine you can keep stuff when you keep the sun, rain, and heat cycles off it.
Love your content. Live in NC now, but born in NY family moved from Hurley long time a go I was very young. Still have lots of family in Kingston and surrounding areas. Love visiting Hudson valley among most scenic in US.. keep up good work..Love your puppies..
Thank you. Hurley is close to me.
Great job Andrew and team! 👏💕👍 Now thats some THICK concrete!!! 😲😳😱
Building a garage is one of the best ideas in recent times. It would be a shame for the machines to stand outside in all weathers and break down
But then we've got stuff to fix... lol
I'm not to sure of many places that can keep their equipment stored indoors, especially the amount Andrew has
@@edlippjr theres always gonna be stuff to fix with dumpster dave driving in front of ya xD
@jimmyglifi634, it really doesn't matter inside or out, other than chrome rams. It's called proper maintenance, which is NOT done. ⬅️ PERIOD‼️
Have you seen his machines? They're used to being left outside lol.
damn mans is uploading at a crazy rate. WE LOVE IT! thanks alot man, you know if you ever see this you gave me the inspiration and great knowledge a few years back to tear down some old buildings in a mini excavator. from watching your vids i was able to get the proper know how by just watching you work on your equipment. thanks alot for uploading content.
As you can probably tell, this is not a recent vid. AC likes to archive his vids and release them later on when his subscriber count is higher and he can make more money.

Great video and nice to see Dumpster Dave. I followed him and he kind of stopped. I will follow him again. What Andrew does is so entertaining and maks me long for younger days.
You have talked about doing this for a long time. I’m glad to see things underway.
Thank you
Thank you verry much for your channel. You show us all the things that are possible with a "can do" attitude. Your canine friends are a wonderful addition and are really special. Keep up what you are doing as we will be looking for it with great anticipation. All the very best to you and your family.
I’m 38 a tad older than Andrew I’d assume and been operating heavy equipment since 7-8. I still find myself learning new things from Andrew and have put my 8 y/o son onto his videos since he wants an excavation business like his dad. Thanks for your pure, no BS content over the years and best of luck in all you do!
We appreciate all your videos. They inspire all of us to get off our duffs, get outdoors and get something done.
Might even be an official Hitachi item.
you can buy air blowers with tapered rubber plugs of various sizes
Always cool to see a good concrete driver. Makes the job 100% easier not having to pull and push it constantly from one area to the next.
Can't wait to see the next garage episode! Awesome 90 minutes of my life watching this... AC never disappoints...
Hello, The amount of time and effort Andrew puts into editing is amazing. Always a great video. Who said time travel isn’t possible when blue was a baby again. Watching these adventures makes you appreciate his hard work. Ty for being one of the top 5 YT channels.

WOW !
Soon to be 2 Mountain Castles!
I can imagine Andrew with two mountain castles built at age 90 driving a tractor up another mountain with his dogs explaining his next project to another generation…
🍺
I have been watching Andrew for years, what an amazing young man.
One of the best things about Andrew is no matter what he is doing, he will always take time to play with Cody and Blue, even if hje is having a tough day, he shows those dogs unconditional love..Kuddos to you brother..
Looking good Andrew I think I’ve watched you build this place from when you first put the first containers up and I gotta say you’re doing one hell of a job. It looks fantastic and I’m glad you keep us informed and I remember when I had your in now I’m retired, good luck with the rest of your project will continue to follow
Andrew you are incredible, you have the ability to make everything look easy and one hell of an instructor, you sir are by far a human machine.
How do those fair with temperature changes? Do they have a similar thermal coefficient as concrete?
Must be a newer product. It been a couple years since I formed, poured and finished concrete for a living.
Andrew, I didn’t realize how much I missed you and your videos until I started watching this one. Thank you for sharing your life and projects with us for so many years!
Andrew, you are knocking it out of the park lately with the videos, and I'm loving it. From an OG viewer in the UK.
All this is so cool, the man always finds a solution, the problem with people like Andy is the more hypnotic videos they put out on YT the less "I" get done.
It's just amazing to see your hard work, imagination and using the lands resources come to fruition. Great job!
incredible project. i was wondering if the "Castle" was being neglected due to the focus on the 'west mountain' but was pleasantly surprised to see renewed focus on the home base. it feels like home base with the home and the past history. great job.
Each of your videos is not just entertaining but a learning experience too. Thanks for sharing Andrew 👍🇨🇦 .
Can you imagine the TB of video footage he has and the sorting of that data into clips, to be stitched back together into these monster videos..
This is the time you realize you really need another all in one outside storage rack. For all your attachments, parts and materials. GJ Andrew on the first one👍👍
I've been looking forward to you putting garage doors on this for years. It's going to be so nice to keep all the rain and snow out.
Sno? Wots dat ?
MAJOR upgrade! Finally a real detached, enclosed barn. This is one of the most awesome things since the castle build. Huge level up.
Can't wait to see the walls.
Awesome work Andrew. Love seeing you improve ... anything :) Can't wait for the walls and doors!
I'm a grown ass man but little puppy blue is the sweetest thing I've seen. What a good boy!
Nice yard layout man I like the way you've got your workshop space next the land and all your plant out front against the weather. It's the evolutionary way of things . Your homestead is the dog's bollocks .
Imagine how far he has come in 5 years with his videos. Even his first few videos were professional looking. I loved the building and welding of his lodge the most. He has wore three men out so far looking for a fourth. Strong kid and what an imagination?
I love when Andrew time travels back to when Blue was a puppy
Andrew is the real life example of "do what you love and call it work".
Who care ? Only you bud ! sorry . @@k1leon
@@k1leonI want to say Andrew ran into the problem of some people not wanting to be filmed or have their property filmed. As for the stuff he doesn't need, I would say he doesn't exactly have a plan for said vehicle just yet.
@@HARRYAZZHOLE yea that's what I'm going with. While you can make money with UA-cam it doesn't really cover cost of heavy equipment. So to say he makes money ONLY from UA-cam is quite dumb.

That aluminum trailer really flexed a lot. Wow.
Well you arent supposed to do that to it lmao
Dont know if it will be ever as straight as it was......just a wee bit more dove tail......looked a little far forward and to much tongue weight.....bet he had fun going down the mountain.....may have cost the guy some britches or at least a pair of underwear😁
Didn’t help it got a whack just before too.
It’s a tilt bed or a break back like some boat trailers. No way it should to that unintentional
Remember you talking about this a couple years ago, pretty cool to see you doing it.
Andrew, Thanks for a great build video. Got to see a couple sales and some of your equipment sales and OLD footage of Baby Blue!! Looking forward to the posts, walls and doors video! Thanks again!
This has better production and entertainment value than anything on TV.
Whats this thing you call "tv"?
They’ll never understand that we don’t enjoy drama in shows (they’re so convinced that they manufacture it.)
We just want to watch something broken get fixed, or a slab become a shop, or trees become lumber…
MAN, that looks awesome! The yard is looking great, Andrew. Cool to see Blue when he was little.
you would think a 96 minute video about pouring concrete slabs would be boring to watch.
I know you have been talking about this project for years now,
so good on you for starting it now. Great video!!
Definitely labour intentsive work and time consuming but rewarding for sure, anticipating the shop building process as well, good job Andrew and crew. Halifax Nova Scotia Canada
Anyone else remembers what machines Andrew started out with then when he showed them all in the background he has really worked hard for everything he has achieved good on him he deserves it. 😀👍
Can we all observe a moment of silence for the poor, unfortunate Bronco that Andrew is about to buy. May it rest in peace...
I Have heard that the front end on the new Bronco's is trash. It doesn't have the balls to off road but then again for most, off roading is a trip to Wegman's in the rain.
Jefe from Matt's Off Road Recovery would disagree with u. They have done a lot of upgrades, though
@@patrickwhelan5703 From what I've read the Bronco sport is trash, it's built on a light chassis but the regular Bronco is the real deal.
LOL 🤣

Congrats Andrew/Sam and ur friend, on getting the old pad up and removed. Then get the areas ready to layout for Concrete.

Sam knows what to do to help.
ALWAYS A PLEASURE to see ANDREW CAMARATA working on anything. Such a talented man. Thank you for the videos❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
I only wanted to watch the pour lol. I just watched the entire video and a dog went from a pup to grown lol. This was super fun to watch. I didn't realize how long the time line is on this, but I started asking questions about the puppy lol.
Watched some old vids of 4 years back this guy has done more work than most people do in a lifetime, i remember you saying you would close that shed in a while ago cheers from OZ.
I think you had trouble with the gas-powered screeding tool because the concrete was a little wet. Working concrete is really an art that takes time to learn and master. I'm surprised you didn't use Expansion Joints but hey more power to you for accepting the challenge.
@@AndrewCamarataGet on it with a power trowel after it’s struck off, bulled smooth and getting stiff.
I thought on the last corner of the pour the concrete was ready to bust out the form. The stakes were bending slightly....
@@AndrewCamarata 100% need to power trowel these slabs. I love everything you do EXCEPT your slab work. I still say you would benefit so much with the finishing side of your concrete work if you spent a week or so with a good concrete crew.
@@mikeznel6048 Hey Mike, can you expand a little on "struck off" and "bulled smooth" for us rookies?? Thanks-
It’s a Warehouse Forklift Andrew. 😂
It’s not meant to be driven over loose gravel. 🤦🏼♂️🤣
Great video as always, brother! 👊🏻👌🏻
@@TheSynthnut We have had the clips pop loose. The one that almost got the forklift driver . I was only locked in with the clips .

Watching that aluminum trailer bend was pretty interesting! I wasn't entirely sold on them even before seeing that.
Yeah, it just tilted by lifting up the back of the truck, everything was fine.
Absolutely loving it!!!! So many memories from us old guys... thankyou thankyou

Looks good Andrew. You may want to score the concrete every 12 feet or so to control where it's going to crack because it will crack. Looking forward to the next video on the wall build.
Palletizing stuff, pallet racks & a forklift are game changers. You can be so much more organized & productive. Also, this must have been a while ago as Blue looks really young....
