Tell me please. IS it true that Big River needs to be blown harder to get a sound and Marine Band is easier to get a sound and needs to blow less air to have a sound. In short, is it true that the marine band is easier to play and get a sound, and the big river is more difficult because of the cheapness?
Paul deLay played Big River harp. And he was one of The Greats. I played BR for a long time. They are quite serviceable and pretty airtight. The best Hohner bang for buck harmonica. But, I’ll stick with my Seydels now.
keep rocking my dude, you are freaking awesome !
Thank you for this video, you sound great! What is the best harp holder for the Marine Band harmonicas?
"When you stop spitting beer through them, they behave." -- :D
You are great! Thanks!
Great playing.

Yes, BR seems quieter and as you say, more difficult to get a clean sound

Stick a Zojak (sp?) comb in it and it turns the BR into a real players harp. Hands down the best value out there.
Reality is bad enought, do I have to tell the thruth.
