I tremendously appreciate how calm and straightforward you are with your videos! No electronic riffs and no annoying background music to muffle or garble your words! Just clear speech (w/ a Boston accent) and straightforward instruction. I recommend you to whoever I can while talking about vehicle maintenance. I thank you again!
I wish I could get my pressure line off the pump as easy as you did. The big one. Spent 4 hours today trying to get it off. After watching the video again, I noticed you cut out the struggle bus portion of disconnecting the second fuel line. How long did that take and what did it take to finally get it off?
I had to bend one of the tabs in slightly to get it to fit. I also used two vice grips on each side of the ring, push down and then twist just to get it started and then used a punch and hammer to move it the rest of the way. It was a tight fit .. and yes the O-ring was seated 😃
I’ve got to replace a fuel pump on one of these tanks, the old one only has the two pipes (just like yours did) but the replacements that I see have the three pipes (like your new one) what’s that third pipe for and does it matter?
Remove and throw away the front tank molded plastic shield, it will cause the new tank to rust out prematurely. The tank sits up high and not subject to mechanical injury.

Good job. Good video. First one I've seen, of many, that actually shows the filler neck hose and talks about the hose inside the hose. Thanks.
Great video!

Nice job. Would it be acceptable to use a bit of silicon spray on the fuel hose and rubber grommet for vent? Thank you.

+@thomasrice2652 Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
It looks like you do not need the hose release tools. It looks like the metal clips keep the hoses connected securely.
+James Bondero Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Have 1994 ford f150 4.9 short bed what size are the tanks so I can order in 1a auto please help
I have a 1990 f150, I assume that this procedure would be the same?
+@richardmuth4012 The installation process should be very similar.
What if I can’t fit my fatass arm up there to take the hoses off first?
