I hope you make it some day. No matter how spectacular the video, a visit in person is even more remarkable. Thanks so much for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Please consider sharing it with your friends and family and help raise awareness of our remarkable and threatened wild spaces.
My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it. Following the devastating fires in recent years, I wanted to visit the giant forest again and see for myself what was left.
what is kind of funny regarding your talk about finding places of your own etc/ as people who go way out of their way to see the back corners of Parks and find our own solitary adventures: Sequoia/Kings is one place where it is well worth visiting and putting up with those crowded tourist sites and coming back for more... i can think of a few places like that, some things are so spectacular that well, crowds want to see them to and really everyone is enjoying it so much/ it's not so bad.. // but ugh, the people charging the bear/ sad... Also did not realize it was so many sequoias dead from the fires / terrible. All kinds of Beautiful scenes in here and we enjoy your sentiments about the trees... Roxana and I find the Bristlecones equally special, ancient mountain sentinels. Fantastic video thanks for sharing
I love sequoias... I can't even imagine a living thing as big or as old as one. Which is why I had everything planned and booked and ready to go for a trip to Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite in 2020. Sadly that didn't happen, and now we're not financially stable enough to be able to plan a trip. But some day! And in the mean time, thanks for this video!
Loved your video. So much of what you said is why I like to visit the National Parks and get outside and enjoy nature. Like the reminder to sit and listen to nature and when quite nature comes to you. Talking to a friend recently she asked me why I don't stay in hotels when I travel. Because a camper gets me closer to nature and I can listen to the trees, birds, water and see the stars. Cannot do that in the confins of a hotel room. She didn't get it.
That’s correct. Just spoke with park leadership today. The Generals highway was damaged due to winter storms and flooding. They’re working to repair the road. Until then. I hope you enjoy my HDR tour.
@@MrHomerbomer I was there today. Still a lot of snow for this time of year but Kings Canyon and the Grant Grove area are open. Only one camp ground is open but the snow is finally melting so more will be open soon.
What a wonderful video and words to describe this majestic place! Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it! It's a truly special place.
SPECTACULAR! Look forward to the day that I will visit!

It’s an amazing place. Hope you’ll consider sharing.
Thanks for the beautiful trees and wildlife and the reminder of our responsibility to take care of the many things God has given us.

Well said! I very much prefer camping. I get to experience so much more when I forego a few modern conveniences. There’s no comparison.
Can you hike there at the moment? I read that there is no accsess?

Grant Grove is open currently.
Okay thank you. I will drive to Grant Grove.
Do you think it is possible without tire chains
