I never did anything like this before. Selling my home and buyer's home inspector pointed out exposed nails around the perimeter of a 10x5 shed with rolled roofing. I used the fiberglass with asphalt in it. It looks great now. Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for the tips you have set the bar higher as a diyer...patching roofs is equal to changing tires! Now I feel more comfortable when I climb on a roof with slides on lol! Be safe!
So with rolled roofing, is the leak typically where each layer meets? I have a porch with rolled roofing. A leak finally broke through and is now in need of repair. I put a tarp on it about four months ago. Worked great until recently. Can’t afford to replace it yet so in need of a diy fix.

Good job. Tip for you. Scrape off the granules first. Because when the cement dries out, it will pull the granules off the sheet.

Something about a gal that does roof repairs, wearing pumps. Gotta love it
apply roofing granules on top of tar. Roll granules into roofing wet patch. Gives repair ares longer life time

this particular roof has a permanent ladder with wide treads and sturdy handrails. I try not to put my daughter in harms way.

I would say yes. That is certainly the most vulnerable spot. I have a very low opinion of the torch on type products.
