Allie actually wrote AND produced this album all on her own!!! It's pretty impressive how much of a task this must've been, she had no team, no co writers, no co producers.

also, knowing what is the actual inspiration behind the song, and comparing to how you interpreted as something so traumatic is hilarious
the thing Allie says about her body in Black Eye is that she have an autoimmune condition (I think she didn´t said exactly what it is), and that´s why she kind of "disappeared" for months, and when the fans started to worry about her (because of covid), she opened up about her condition, but she doesn´t want to focus on that, she says everything she needs to say into her songs

Even though it's not technically meant to be an interlude, I think Hardware Software makes more sense as one. While I understand her thought process, it's the weakest track on the album and doesn't have a lot of replay value for the listener.
