Hey Gary. I have the same NVR as this, but having a problem with one of my cameras. The camera uses UDP instead of TCP transmission. When I enter the details I have error 'cannot log in:. Is there a way to enable NVR to use UDP for this camera? All my other cameras they use TCP and it works fine. Regards

I just purchase Xmeye oem branded Ninivision dvr, I add four ptz IP cameras it just said "not logged in", does this dvr only allow their own brand cameras?
now 99.9% NVR should support Onvif IP camera, can you find the IP camera's address on the NVR? if said "not logged in" seems dont input the right camera password (123456, empty, or other).
@@GaryCCTV Well, I ask to camera manufacture and they said my camera is not Onvif supported so won't be able to add to HVR or NVR. But thanks for reply. Great video.
hello as I know only some NVR support remote adding their IP camera by camera's P2P serial no. if you would like to remote adding any IP camera to your NVR through internet, that is complicated.
hello can login in the camera to change the setting, you may find the answer in the camera instruction. for example, the camera IP address is 192.168.0.100, then use browser to login， ususally the usernames is admin, passowrd is admin or 123456 or 888888 ( Chinese CCTV camera)
hello first I will restore the NVR to factory settings. if possible I will get older version's firmware. Of course I know many factory they dont put the firmware on their website, hard to get it. then have to wait for next version's firmware.

any tutorial on how to add a reolink poe ip camera on this nvr? its onvif compliant so im assuming itll work
