Love this video. Trying to do this on a granny style crossbody bag similar in design to yours! A little confused about the added 2cm in the width since it appears the zipper head is actually placed a bit over the edge of the lining for sewing. Trying to figure out where my lining side seam should end up by the zipper pull.

I never tried that, I think it's impossible to do invisible, that's why I always do it by hands

I would have liked to see where you hand stitched near the beginning and end of the zipper. That seams like it would have been the trickier area to know how to sew

Hi! Is there a way to sew the lining (with the zipper already sewed) with a sewing machine? I've been looking but either you sew the lining with sewing machine but no zipper or you sew all of it but hand sewing it

I think that depend on your machine. I was not sure that my machine can sew thick crochet fabric.

I followed this video exactly and mine came out twice as big😅 it’s still perfect but big. Gonna finish adding the zipper and lining and just hope for the best

take the measurements when the squares are assembled in a T shape (before joining the two squares on the side to form the angles). The lining will have the exact size

Hi what to you do to the extra pieces of zip? If you just fold they will show from the holes in the granny square 🥴🥴
