British Bulldog advertising Newspapers and Burgers, soundtracked to what would later be Chris Benoits WCW theme music. As well as being used in multiple soft porn flicks. Remarkable....
Bet the person was pissed when they went to watch back the movie and discovered they had recorded the adverts and hit pause when movie came back on lol
Imagine thinking you're watching a UA-cam video of old adverts for nostalgia purposes, but in actual fact you was dying and these adverts where part of your life flashing before your eyes.
I remember the Davey boy smith advert, me and my mates used to joke how small that burger looked, and he looked like he could it scoff in one mouthful.
7:31 is the guy who tells William Wallace to beg for mercy just before he's beheaded at the end of Braveheart. And 8:57 is Stephen the mad Irishman, from the same movie!
14:17 Kellogg’s pop tarts! The irony when they show a flame when it gets split in two. Didn’t they get law suits for mouth burns because the internal sauces became nuclear ?!
Ha, and here was me thinking that the current obsession with health and dieting was a new thing! Still, I suppose ads for light beer and 'healthy' cereals beat today's line up: online bingo, online poker, online betting, online loans, and PPI claims.
The music on the Norweb advert sounds like it could have been produced by Perfect Pitch Productions. The Smile of man advert used the Roland R-8 drum machine. The pop tarts advert also used the Roland R-8. I think they used to make blueberry flavored pop tarts but pop tarts are poison. I wouldn't even touch them with a barge poll.
Hello Neil can you upload anymore both these strepsils version black and white commercials from 1991-1994 woman eating baguette more so man eating celery those ads very scary but legend
@@Tee_Leaf why is it offensive? People used to to see harmless humour for what it is, now everyone is looking to be outraged and offended. (It is a shit advert, but that doesn't make it offensive)
@@Tee_Leaf Oh do go away! Nobody was crying about it then. The Japanese probably made plenty of jokes about other races. Did you ever see Eddie Murphy's old comedy gigs?... Extremely offensive towards all races, including my own. They are still some of my favourite Stand Up DVDs, because they might be offensive, but that's what makes them funny. It's very healthy to not be serious all of the time and have a laugh at yourself. Everybody is too offended nowadays and look where we are today... Mass censorship and on the verge of global communism. This is where your constant crying has gotten us!
These days it's all black people and white women with a black family pushing products they guarantee I'll never buy. No, I don't care if that offends you.
Thank you for all these uploads but a special thanks for this one with the British Bulldog ad. I'm a huge wrestling fan and always on the lookout for clips like this. Would it be possible for me to upload that ad to my own channel? I would give you full credit. Thanks.
I’m with you on the last one. Quality time with friends, playing outside until the sun went down. I miss how much friendships meant. I moved up to Cumbria in the noughties and only one friend actively stayed in touch, coming up for visits and such....most everyone else seemed quite happy just remaining within the perimeters of Facebook.
I was 9yrs old in 93 and i can still remember the majority of these ads. Take me back!!
I was 19 and I can’t remember a single one. Then again I was in Croatia at the time
I was 10; great era !
Wow no annoying phone ads that make you feel like you own an ancient artefact and no casino app ads either. Bliss!
The Low C beer advert at the 6:00 minute mark - oh dear oh dear oh dear, Definitely in the 'Ads that would never get OKed now' category
1993, Watched these with my young children running about.
2021 watched these with my young grandchildren running about.
Lol
This is the best promo davey boy smith has ever done
Yeah he managed to actually complete a full sentence
God I miss the 90's if only could go back
I think you just did. Cheers.
I loved the 90’s
The British Bulldog's gonna be sponsored by Burger King, wether he wants to or not!
Also, Granada service stations, renamed to Moto in 2001 have Burger King chains.
That Low'C ad though.
You couldn't do something like that today.
Reminded me of fat bastard from Austin Powers
No, thankfully not.
Yeah... that’s a pretty bad advert.
Thankfully we have moved on
Yeah low cal beer fuck that 🙄
Yeah the racism was strong in that advert
I recalled many things I had forgotten. I was able to sing some of the songs on my head. Thank you for uploading this.
I remembered every last word of the Fruit and Nutcase song. Amazing how some things just stick.
Carol Vordermann is like Triggers broom, virtually no original parts left looking back at this advert
The irony of being interrupted by Ads when watching Ads!
The irony of skipping ads to watch ads 🤣🤣
the ironic high appeal of old commercials vs new cringy ones
@Anders Kevin Yeah, you have just confessed to committing electronic fraud.
Errr!
Country Club Cuisine from Birds Eye was awesome, primarily because it was around 90% salt, fat and carbs and 10% pressed veggie sweepings

Future me: well one day you'll watch it on a computer for nostalgia

Hahaha, so true
Demolition Man knew it all along.
Or on a phone
Rest in Peace Davey boy Smith.🌹
Davey boy Smith met him back in 92 at Sheffield as he went in and came out he will never be forgotten ie British bull dog
Carol Vorderman there, showing you how to get a heated semi.
And also some heating for your house
Omg the low c beer advert , no one knew what I was on about and it's on here lol

@@thefog7067 on IMDb trivia, the director mentioned the idea came from the low c advert.

Bro Benoit theme was around for years before it made it to wcw. I had no idea 🤷
those burgers look tiny when Bulldog holds them
God I feel old watching these. I was 7 when these came out and I can remember all of them.😃
In the first Norweb ad Voderman says it costs £7 to heat the average home for a week.... In the second; £8... There's 90's inflation for you!
And now she is telling you to use equity release to get more than £8 out of your home 🏡
I was thinking the same, gone up a quid in the space of a few minutes!
Think the £7 was for a semi detached and the £8 was for a detached
£8 is vastly more than I pay for my heating *now*
The graphics look like something from The Day Today..........Liquid Football!!
i was 12 and i can remember all these.
Bet the person was pissed when they went to watch back the movie and discovered they had recorded the adverts and hit pause when movie came back on lol
That movie was never off ITV and the yearly James Bond season. Good old days

Tv was so awesome back then
LOL! Wow that Low C advert really hasn't ages well! :P
Wow ads from 28years ago, time really does fly by, scary thing is i can remember them all!

If that’s you on your profile pic it looks like your still using something
Wowww bet you have like 2 brain cells left
I don't understand.... It was only yesterday that these adverts were in the television...
I don’t understand how these adverts are in our phones today. Life will always be a mystery to people like us
The 90’s, when you looked forward to adverts 🤗😂
Well we had fuck all else to do I suppose
I suddenly feel like a Cadbury’s caramel
Luckily you can still get them in 2019
Same here! Can't explain it, must be the classic wrapping...
Pull yourself together, man!
Old burgers king for me. So annoying the quality has gone downwards.
Hahahaha yeh man
How did I miss out on my free burger when I was a huge Bulldog fan and my parents got the Mirror everyday?
I didn't see the TV ad 📺 however I remember the Daily Mirror running the free burger 🍔
Davey Boy Smith advertising junk food smh
How old were you ?
That prawn curry looks rank
Stick some lea and Perrin's on it and you'll be grand!
Would be now it's almost 30 years old 😂
6:01: they'd never get away with this advert in 2021. I'm surprised it passed *then* in 1993!
That birds eye advert is like a Peter Gabriel music video from the 80s
Very reminiscent of "Sledgehammer"
Veghammer

Not if low c adverts are commonplace 👀
And now I feel old.

Really weird how Cadbury's thought a sexy, West Country rabbit would sell chocolate and then it did.
Bizarely Miriam Margoyles, who with all due respect is the opposite of sexy, was her voice.

Nice to hear Miriam Margoyles Voicing the sexy rabbit in the Caramel advert.

John Cleese is exactly right. The best time to stop smoking is when your dead
That voice over for Lea and Perrin's sounds familiar . Anyone know?
Bulldog screaming at those kids "YOU WANT A BURGER!!!!!!" they were petrified lol.
Back when they had to explain to people smoking was bad.
Ok why was the Mirror ad running Chris Benoit's WCW theme for the British Bulldog?
Probably didn't have to pay any royalties for it, must have been a free to use piece of music
Most WCW music was from the Turner library except the stuff Jimmy Hart wrote (as far as I know anyway)
