I chopped all mine off at 4 years (mental reasons) and I miss them. You are why I was confident in starting (my hair was tapered too 😊) and here I am about to start them again with more knowledge to keep them healthy and strong this time!

Congratulations 🎊 Your locs are simply beautiful just as you are. I am just starting my loc journey and I am in month 4 on the 9th of May and it has been a testament of true patience. I watched your 1 year journey and feel the exact same way you feel just as many others. The first year is really a vow of learning and loving yourself. As much as I want to rush this “ugly phase” I too believe I will look back and think I should have embraced it more while in it. However, we know we are conditioned to the microwave syndrome of wanting it sooner than later. Nonetheless, your journey gives me hope so keep the videos coming! ❤️❤️❤️
