Giiiirlll, you are giving me loc envy with this thickness!! Something about long black locs does something to my soul 😂 your hair is flourishing beautifully, the skin is glowing, you looking good, sis! 🌹🖤🖤
I just want to say that I love you so so much. I just recently started my locs and I’ve watched many of your videos along with others to inform myself on what I need to do on my journey. Excited to watch this video. Much love❤️
Wooow! I could never go this long without washing. I'd have a ton of dandruff. I have to wash every 2 weeks. I honestly don't think your hair looks that bad considering how long its been.
Mix 100% pure tee.tre oil into a carrier oil like almond ,olive, avocado etc. I have seborrheic dermatitis and went having to wash my locs once or twice a week. To being able to go 8 weeks or so without a wash
I used to have a lot of dandruff too. But now I can go weeks without washing and the dandruff is gone. Don't know what that's about just thought I should share
Yay 🤗! So happy to see this upload 🥰! We missed you ❤️! Your locs have definitely continued to flourish since I found your channel about 2 years ago! They look great and the LENGTH 😍🔥!!! Great wash day, thanks for sharing 🌹!
Hello, may I just ask what you use to re-twist your locs? I recently got starter locs and they are comb coils, but I think my Loctician may have used things that are a bit too heavy for locs. My comb coils are a bit hard and crunchy and I do not like that, also in the long run, I don’t want my locs to be heavy because of the buildup from using heavy products. Also, whatever she used to start my comb coils has my hair smelling like I just got a fresh perm or relaxer, I also don’t like that. It’s a shame because she did very good on my starter locs, but with those two things I don’t know if I would be able to keep going to her and I’m not ready to start retwisting my own locs yet because I just started with locs. I’m thinking about suggesting to her the next time I come can I bring my own products that she can use on my hair because I feel that these products are best suitable for my hair.
Your locs are beautiful, Chyna. What would have you done in your hair care process to not have any bends in your locs? I've noticed that your curly is curly, wavy is wavy, and straight locs are straight from root to end. Let me know -- and thanks for the very helpful content.
To dilute you just add water . For dr bronners soap you have to because it is so potent. It’s already on the bottle instruction to dilute with water . And I do put on my ends but I find that they usually don’t soap up as well as my roots. I mostly focus on my roots though .
Hi there and yes I think I’ve talked about that in one of my videos. I have one in the back that has a weak spot in the middle, it’s not too bad yet so I’m not doing anything to it. I’m not really sure yet what I want to do with it. But there are some ways you can fix weak spots depending on how bad it is.
Mine sheds when washing too! I’m 16 months loc’d and my texture is like 4A, so it’s not fully loc’d yet. I wonder if it’ll change later on and was wondering if anyone else experienced it too 🙂.
Hi and yes remember shedding is normal with any hair . We all experience it, it just all depends on quantity of shedding . Of course most people shed more when they are loose natural . When your loc’d or fully loc’d you will experience less shedding because the hair is literally combined with each other so you should experience less shedding as your locs lock/mature . That process is different for everyone . That’s why when someone combs out their locs you see a lot of dead hair . That is all the hair that would’ve been shedded If the person was loose natural . I still get a few coils here and there when I wash my hair but nothing alarming .
I have a whole video talking about it lol but overall It was just a personal choice and I just use my oil and rose water from Naturally Defined to retwist. 🙌🏾🤎

You don t no Never conditionner on your locs?
Sorry for my english im french
How did you get your hair from not coming unloose in the beginning, before it started to loc?
Subbed and liked from the USA. Hope you're doing well, enjoying 2024, and staying safe.
What do you use to dry your hair?
How do you get rid of lint? I heard it damages the hair over time when u keep picking them out?
Beautiful locs ❤️ how long have you been growing your locs your hair looks so healthy and amazing and you are so beautiful 😍
Thank you so much and it’s been 5 years and 3 months 🙌🏾🤎🤎
I'm six months locd can't wait to just get to year one. Thank you😊
Your locs are absolutely gorgeous! Can I ask how you dilute your shampoo and also do you not put shampoo on the ends ? I’m only 9 months loced

Have you ever dealt with weak spots in your locs? If so how did you deal with it?

Does your hair shed at all wetting it or shampooing? Mine sheds so not sure if it is normal. Anybody else can answer too
When I was a loose natural I experienced a lot of shedding. Since being loc'd the shedding is very minimal.
Mine sheds when washing too! I’m 16 months loc’d and my texture is like 4A, so it’s not fully loc’d yet. I wonder if it’ll change later on and was wondering if anyone else experienced it too 🙂.
Yes just hit 15 months and was getting concerned!

@@Chynax_M Oh awesome! Thanks so much for stating that 👍🏿❤️!
Do you use conditioner?
No I do not
So you still use both interlocking and retwisting to maintain your locs?
Hi and no I don’t . I only palm retwist . It’s been over a year since I’ve interlocked.
What made you stop interlocking? Also, what do you use to retwist(gel, oil, butter)
I have a whole video talking about it lol but overall It was just a personal choice and I just use my oil and rose water from Naturally Defined to retwist. 🙌🏾🤎
@@Chynax_M do you find that twisting with oil and water helps minimize buildup?
Yes,definitely! That was one of the reasons I decided to start retwisting with oil
does your store deliver internationally? I live in South Africa and I would like to buy something
Yes she does.
Yes I do! 🤎🤎
