    Thanks for your efforts. Is shrimp anatomy interesting for a housewife or a fisherman? Or maybe shrimp nitrogen metabolism? How is it excreted from the body - ammonia, urea, uric acid, allantoin? Okay. The way is like this. Each author chooses his own path and his viewer. Judging by the likes and dislikes, everyone is present here. Good luck.

    Taking out the black thread thingy can be so 😭😭😭.
    My husband insist I should cook the prawns with the scale says that's how he likes it 🤷🏽. Guess I'll just divide into two and remove the scale in my own prawn.

      Yeah, the thread thingy is the digestive track, and I'm guessing you don't wanna eat shrimp poop so make sure to remove it!

    Is deveining mandatory

    • @cheflallskitchen
      @cheflallskitchen  5 років тому +1

      Devein is needed because that vein/nerve/intestine part is not good to consume. So should be avoided. In small size prawn,shrimps it's left untreated because you cant see it properly, but in larger size, it's needed.

      yes, because it actually is no vein, but part of their intestinal tract.....and I don't think you like eating feces
