At last a fresh idea on the 435D. Love these cars !!! I agree with recent comment of getting rid of that M4 badge and going with BMW Md 😊. I have a f36 435d and depending on outcome of this project, I could be sending her over for the full package 😅
Had 2 N57s the last being a touring 35d running 414bhp. That was already faster than a standard M3/4. Xdrive vs Rwd in the older generation. Would be interesting against standard G series M3/4 awd to compare 👍
Honestly, I love the whistle on a turbo car - sounds menacing. The new exhaust is more tasteful too, much deeper to offset the high pitched whistle. Keep it up DD
As a lover of the channel AND owner of a 435d this is amazing 👍🏼👍🏼 exhaust sounded great (love the whistle) and REALLY interested in nitro addition may have to pay you guy's a visit 👍🏼👍🏼
Not in the uk but look at matt santjer bmw 335d m57 built car to beat anything never mind a m4 2 seconds to 60 8.8/9 seconds 1/4 miles Shame we cant have any uk content on this type of build

When the picture of the sq5 popped up in couldn’t believe it. I saw and took a picture of that car a this years goodwood revival in the car park🤣 i can say from personal experience its a lovely colour.

@DarksideDevelopments for sure! I'm really looking forward to this series. I love a big power diesel. I am interested to see how strong the internals are on the n57. The old m57 seems to be able to handle 600-700bhp on standard rods and pistons.
It’s definitely a follow from me. Yep the grey area of fakes… err replicas. It’s a stunning looking car but it baffles me why anyone would plough so much money into a car when they probably could have bought the real thing. I digress, please make this oil burner an M4 eater 😁😁
Yeah I don't know why someone would bother spending all that money doing a conversion, as cool as it looks an M4 would have been cheaper and a better tuning platform, and I've owned a tuned 435d the last 5 years and love it
xAutomorive sell a map for the TCU called xDelete that can set to RWD only......I don't have it as I want xdrive but I do have their gearbox tune which I'd recommend
New exhaust sounds way better! Might be worth reaching out to Santjer Performance in the US. They have a 1000+wrhp m57 that is think is still on the stock bottom end using their tripe turbo setup. Also looks like they have turbo / fueling for the N57s as well according to their Facebook. First triple turbo 435d? 😉😂😂

That new exhaust not only looks good, it sounds it too! You got any plans for the gearbox, or is that staying original?
The gearbox will be stock until something breaks. Then we might look at upgrading but the ZF 8HP is pretty strong anyway.
You'll need to stabilise that carbon rear diffuser too, if you haven't already 👍

Possible but will be tough, going to need a minimum of 550-600bhp to get sub 7s 100-200kph

xDelete is possible, we haven't done this yet so couldn't comment on the usability or potential issues
