like 69, a year late... I am all into dirt oval now. I raced carpet pan in winters for years, but 1/8th buggy outdoor in summers. Now that Staub is my local dirt track, I'm ready to sell out of offroad.
leave those yellows on the front too . be safe good luck and God bless . I know videos old . I'm new to having UA-cam as a doorway into the pits..lol I hope to rejoin the dirtoval racing scene some day soon .
I think youre doing awesome on your videos. I also like how we watch your cars run, then you explain what and why you are adjusting your cars. I am learning a lot from watching your videos and it will translate over to when Im running. Ill have a better understanding of what to do when. Just do what you do man.
get you a regular front tire and cut it down a 1/4" left front only, leave the red springs.. run 80wt in the rears 60wt right front and 20wt left front I used delta shocks from an 1/8 scale on road car ...this set up had me dialed brother ..give it a try homie
Thanks for the vids. Im 54 and getting started in rc / oval. About 2yrs . And Im struggling with set ups. Would love some info on pills and just what does what. Its hard to find info. If you could make some vids. Or direct me I would appreciate it.
I spoke on it on my video preparing for the chilibowl. if you look on the back of a associated manual like the b6 series kits, it provides some information about it.
Watch a real sprint carrace and see how they twist the car to the left into the corner and tap the brake. If you do that and immediately turn to the right and floor it, it will slid around the corner and full throttle down the straight. I won the western Washington sprint car race by just doing that from two laps down. At the start someone took me out, and they made a lap before the corner got me back on the track. None of the other drivers knew how a car does a corner turn entering the corner at full throttle. Dude all the adjustments you make!! Try driving differently. Slide into the corner and full throttle all the way through and out. Like your videos keep the faith brother.
Great racing ..!! Thanks for sharing 😎
