while only a few months out of undergrad, I am definitely enjoying the lack of homework. not excited for the crisis once it settles. I miss you keith and glad to see you doing well
Hi Keith- interesting video, totally agree with these pros and cons. Great thing about adulting there's many highs and lows. Btw- your mic is so big it takes away from your face... over all good video again. Hope you can share more about what things you like about living in Seattle:) Cheers
i graduated last year and now i'm in grad school for a year but i'm so ready to be done with school, especially for the reason you stated of your work not looming over you once you leave for the day
It’s a huge relief for sure! I also found that I was READY to get outta school by my last year. Overall very happy with adulting so far but some things (summer vacay) will be missed.
Yep, I'm in big tech! I would say the general reputations are accurate LMAO, but also it's highly dependent on the team you're at. I have some friends in Amazon who work on super chill teams, others who don't. Same with Microsoft, surprisingly. But company culture does really contribute to the overall experience, and Amazon has a workaholic culture for sure.
A look back while looking forward, with a vocal impressionot of the stress. I hope you get a good vacation at the end of your first year. Your insights make me wonder if the ancient system of trades provided more stability without the fear of losing the roof over your head. These are perhaps the most difficult economic times in many decades. I hope things get better.
Thanks, Ken! That’s an interesting thought - I wonder how dissimilar it would’ve been to being a small business owner today? Which itself of course can lack stability in different ways. Grass is always greener, I suppose. Definitely a challenging time to enter the workforce though. Many of my peers are struggling to get their foot in the door.
Somehow this video popped up on my Home tab, thank you for uploading Keith! - a 24 y/o entering her quarter-life crisis
HAHA good luck!! I will be there too soon

Are you working in big tech? I hear AWS is super rigorous but i started at msft and have interned there and its a lot more chill.
