I love seeing people come to Seattle and enjoying it for the first time. I absolutely love this city. One suggestion I have is when spring comes around, go visit the UW Cherry Blossoms. Then go visit the bloedel reserve on Bainbridge island. Then go visit the hoh rainforest, and finally end in Canada.
I adore Seattle! This video was recorded about a month ago, now. And I've more and more fell in love with life here. Thank you for all the suggestions! I've done much of the local touristy things but have not done / heard of anything you've mentioned! Now I have some new recs for when friends come to visit :)
Congratulations! This randomly appeared on my recommended feed and was a heartwarming video that reminds me why I love living in Seattle. As you embark on this next chapter, there will be ups and downs, but I hope you continue to chase your dreams. Finding community can be hard here, but you radiate a positive energy that people will naturally gravitate towards - lasting connections will be made at activities you love, so don't be afraid to get involved and out there! Explore everything Seattle and the PNW have to offer and make it yours. Good luck!
i'm so glad i came across your video. me and my boyfriend are moving to seattle in august and i always search seattle tour apartments/vlogs and the same ones pop up. i can tell you seem genuinely so grateful and excited about your move, i felt connected with you when you were sitting on your apartment floor, because that's my dream too, you're in a spot where i'm going to be very soon. good luck on your journey! hopefully i bump into you at a dive bar sometime!
Keith, pat yourself on the back for achieving all of this at your age, BY YOURSELF ☝🏽. You landed a new job, moved to the city that you wanted to and YOU LIVE ALONE !!! Congrats 🍾
I've lived here for 20 years and still am shocked at how beautiful Seattle can be! Today I visited the newly opened Waterfront Walk, which is a new waterfront park and connector from Pike Place Market to the waterfront. Stunning! You need to see it.
Awesome view, nice to have a little balcony for fresh air, and the location is very central to all kinds of businesses and services. Also a good location for bicycles, electric scooters, and electric unicycles. Hope you like living in Seattle!
I'm loving it so far! Especially happy with the apartment. Was definitely a big investment but having a home I feel really happy in has made it worth it. Also, you have super cool videos! I've not seen an electric unicycle before but perhaps I'll see you zipping past me sometime haha
welcome to seattle! im actually moving back to seattle at the end of this month from school in Oregon. Its a really great city and I don't doubt you will meet some awesome people. don't believe in the seattle freeze it will only harm you from making connections. i came across your 'dating in college being gay' video and it really resonated with me. that being said, theres so much to do in Seattle and the spring/summer will blow you away! godspeed
Thank you for the welcome! I’m happy to hear the dating video resonated :) And yes, I’m super looking forward to the spring! Excited to see the cherry blossoms and have the sun set at 9:30! Moving here in December and having it set at 4 was an adjustment for sure lol. Goodluck with your move back - wishing you a warm welcome home
Thank you! I ended up in downtown! I like it here so far - super close to work while also being accessible to other neighborhoods. Would also recommend checking out Cap Hill or Ballard if you enjoy the night life scene, or Fremont if you enjoy more coffee-artsy-fashion vibes! Good luck on your move!

Congrats and welcome to Seattle. It’s a wonderful city !
Omg welcome!! You'll love it😊
Congrats on that awesome new apartment. And yes in Berkeley or anywhere in the East Bay an apartment like that would be much more expensive.
Thank you so much!
