We have one guy at our locals who plays Gravekeepers. He gets blown out in most matchups, but every once in a while he pulls off massive upsets because of Royal Tribute. It's super funny because it messes with tiebreakers and seeding for top 8.
I play amaryllis with one copy of magic cylinder and it gets me an incredible amount of undeserved wins. you can afford to burn through your card advantage doing titania damage early, hang on with amaryllis doing burn, then finish the game with a well-timed magic cylinder. it only works once per opponent, but then you just sidedeck it in or out depending on where you started.
The incentive is when you summon green gadget, you get a red gadget. And then when you summon red gadget, you get a yellow gadget. AND THEN GET THIS. When you summon yellow gadget, YOU GET GREEN GADGET!
@Tweakerbythespeaker looking back like last year and this year, vayu is the absolute winner. It even won the rbet rulers. I'm not fanboying the deck. Actually, I find it pretty boring to play, but it's the statistics, and every edison youtuber says the same pretty much. Having that said bw, vayu and frog are in my eyes by far still the 3 strongest/best decks of the format, and I think the difference between the 3 is very minimal.
Glad Beast on Good, its a Top 5 Deck for sure. Its just that 1) not too many people are on it (only recently it gained popularity) which is why it doesnt top as much as the other decks and 2) its not a difficult deck to play, but very difficult to build. Most builds that are played are just suboptimal, especially those "generic" Glad beast decks most people try out and then drop cause they think its not consistent enough, but they just played a bad build.

Theres no incentive to play gadgets if xyz doesnt exist, in tengu format utopia and roach exists so theres actually a benefit to playing gadgets.
